It's my own fault, really. I was never creative enough to come up with my own Land. I had five years of active fandom to do it and get it drawn in. I never came across anyone like Classpectanon who could make a Land for me until now, when all the artists are long gone.

If I was given Davekat as the both of them having a heated argument which evolved into spontaneous making out and groping that probably would have been okay. The tension between the two was great pre-retcon and the payoff would have been ridiculous but less retarded than a brief overview of them being supportive sweet-on-each other boyfriends for whatever the fuck reason.
Karkat and Dave lost what made them interesting when the pairing became 'official' thanks to Vriskagram.
