Infinitely better than Homestuck. I absolutely loved this and was into it when it was still in progress. They used to take suggestions from readers for what would happen next, and one of mine was actually picked.

Honestly I don't know what's uglier, the arms or the puddles of oil everywhere on the comic. the arm is tacky but mostly you don't notice it, whereas the oil smudges are pretty much everywhere and look pretty tacky and inconsistent with the style
