Why does Marvel have so many characters that are direct rip offs of DC heroes?
I know DC rips off marvel too but I can't think of as many obvious examples.

Namor came out before Aquaman but he clearly was shaped to become Marvels Aquaman.

If you're going to steal one of the New Gods, at least rip off Darkseid, the really good one!"
