I posted a thread earlier this week about my program I was developing, it is a command line tool that downloads all images from the specified url. I added .cbz archiving of files for story times.
I have a good stable copy of my software finished.
windows executable:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5v3I_MVz9_peGNaVmlSeVFQMWM
that is a single file executable, double clicking on it will run it in basic mode, no options, just download images from a url..
the application is meant to be run from command line. I will post directions for use
shortly.
OP here:
basic syntax..
double clicking on exe file will open app in basic mode.
app will ask you for a url, copy and paste a url and you will see images downloaded.
images will be downloaded to your computers pictures/my pictures folder in a directory called McImage
command line options.
to use in command line, change directory to location of mcimage.exe
type "cd location/to/mcimage"
run mcimage
type "mcimage url"
this will be a basic download no options.
you can apply options to the command:
"mcimage url --4hchan" would run the program optimized for 4chan
"mcimage url --4chan --cbz" would run the program and place all files in a cbz
"mcimage -s overwrite" would overwrite all files of similar save name
type "mcimage -h" for more commands

How much faster will this download my porn?
>>83437520
This actually sounds pretty useful for storytimes. Good job anon
Downthemall already exists though.
>>83437520
Cool stuff, thanks lad

Kek, if you save a bunch of images it would be way faster.
I could mod it to download videos as well.
Doesn't Jdownloader/Downthemall/every download manager do this?
>>83443774
>Linus, Windows already does all that
>>83440314
JDownloader too.

From mid-2012 there were complaints that JDownloader's installer installed adware without the user's consent.[4] The JDownloader installation contains AdWare according to several sources, including the developer's own forums.[5][6] There were further complaints from mid-2014.

I'm just saying that, for example Jdownloader takes all of this >>83437638 and turns it into "double click the link/copy it to your clipboard and it will be parsed"
>>83443859
That's pretty cool, I don't doubt that there are multiple programs out there that download resources from urls.
Mine is command line though, which will be more suited to some people's needs. Also, I browse here a lot, if people like it and want certain features I can work on modifying the program
Also not sure about the others but mine will output directly to a cbz archive
