that was only because washbucket was in amy's body and it would have been morally wrong for washbucket to keep/use it. there's no reason they couldn't have stayed together once she was back in her original body.

no, the point was that Scruffy did lust after his washbucket but he knew they came from completely different worlds and could never truly understand each other on a personal level. yes, they'd have fun fucking for a while, but they'd only drift apart emotionally, totally unable to meet or even comprehend one another's needs
