That's just from a little research, and there still may be more. A lot of fansites were lost when Geocities was destroyed and most fansites stopped updating around the Summer of 2007 for some reason. The Dariawiki and Daria Outpost have links to a lot of fansites as well.
And speaking of websites, MTV also hosted a lot of 'fake' Daria websites, based on stuff in the show; as well as character blogs. Some of it is viewable, but because of the way MTV's website is coded, using the Wayback machine to view it just redirects it to a 404 page before the page can finish loading all the content. Which is why I don't have it in the Archive.

That was the plan if Daria didn't do well enough right away, but after it became such a hit, the crew decided to never do it because it would ruin what they had going for the show. After the series finale aired, An Animated Version of Daria went on some talkshow and they asked about if she kept in contact with them, and she said she didn't know if they knew how to use a phone.
When Beavis and Butthead was revived, one joke they wanted to do was the two (still being the same age, in highschool with the same classmates) calling Daria who was now an adult; but the Network didn't want that to happen for the same reason the crew decided against it in the first place.

I was very close to a girl in my senior year of high school who was wooed by the same type of "friends." It got worse and worse toward the end of the final semester, and I just flat-out told her, "That girl is toxic. She's poisoning you. I think it would be in the best interest of your future if you . . . weren't friends with her."
She laughed in my face and walked away.
She never finished her classes and never graduated. She ran off with a 45-year-old guy she knew from working at a scaled-down zoo at the mall.
I really don't get the appeal of the show, I don't know if it's the the fact that I wasn't born in right time to "appreciate" it, or if it's because I'm not a grill. Daria just seems to be the biggest stereotype ever and she doesn't really develop from there, she's always level-headed and always sarcastic, and that's it.

She was reffered to Jane as a chance in a million, a one kind of opportunity, finding someone with who it could actually click and it's one of the thing she value the most. Daria tend to be too smart and to self-aware for her own good and that lead her to build a wall a of cynicism to allow her endure her life.
Her way of being is more a surviving need than a a snobbish choice.
