In a fucked up way this is sort of bringing a lot of us closure.
Homestuck is fucking huge, and a lot of us weren't gonna reread it just to figure out what to think of the fucking thing.
Seeing the thoughts of someone reading it all at once archivally lets us compare it to what we thought of reading this small section of the story over like three fucking years. I'm convinced now that a lot of Act 6 really isn't bad, even if it had more teen drama and bullshit filler than it should have. But seeing a fresh reader hate the retcon as much as we did is sort of, like, external confirmation that we really didn't just talk ourselves into hating it. It really is just a bullshit twist. Which is always what I thought, but hey. Now I know.
It's another lens through which we may view the story, and receive the catharsis that we were denied. Even if we receive it from her lack of catharsis.

So clearly the most logical thing to do was ban all discussion of pregnant kids on the forums
So Toby Fox and a bunch of the music team and a few other dorks all collaborated on this album and posted it on the forums in defiance of the mods

In response to this egregious affront to freedom of expression some people from the music team made an album about homestuck characters being teen pregnant, because there was no rule against that.

This is one of the things I most dislike about the ending. Alt-Calliope is apparently able to not only use all her powers but leave dreambubbles at will, despite being not only dead, but a doomed alternate version who represents the path Calliope didn't take. She's the ultimate example of how inconsequential Paradox Space really is. Aranea, at least, had to steal the Ring of Life to regain influence (nevermind that all the dead Damaras could use their powers to help her); Calliope was capable of changing a fundamental part of Paradox Space just because that's something she can do.
