initiative

jade:1D20+2 = [3]+2 = 5
Killer frost: 1D20+4 = [1]+4 = 5

Well, looks like we're off to a great start. its a tie folks. which means the person with the highest agility goes first. This mean skiller frost goes first.

KIller Frost
Standard action: Uses freezing cold to change the environment.
Move action: moves 25 to the right

Jade
move action: none
standard action: force constructs a whip
>>
>>83278479
They fought one time. Jade got her ass kicked until Wonder Girl stepped in
>>
>>83278791

killer frost

move action: none
standard action: creates a sword out of ice
Extra effort: stealth check 1D20+3 = [14]+3 = 17

opposed by jades perception with a -2 penalty for the environment change 1D20+9-2 = [12]+9-2 = 19. JADE WINS! despite killer frost trying to be sneaky jade hears her frosty steps. Killer frost is now fatigued from extra effort aswell and her environment effect ends at the start of the next round.

jade

Move action: none
standard action: attacking killer frost 1D20+9-2 = [7]+9-2 = 14

Killer frost parrys the the whip and avoids damage
>>
>>83278945
Where are they fighting? Louise likes to go for collateral damage and hostages.
>>
>>83278945

killer frost[fatigued]

move action: Killer frost closes half the gap between her and killer frost 15 feet now remain between them.
standard action: throws the sword at jade 1D20+4 = [11]+4 = 15

jade dodges the thrown sword and avoids damage

jade

move action: jade closes the gap from her end and flies over killer frosts head
standard action: jade whips down from above 1D20+9 = [19]+9 = 28

that hits. first killer frost makes an strength check to avoid being grabbed by the whip DC23 1D20+1 = [19]+1 = 20 killer frost fails and is grabbed.
>>
>>83279019

they are in a parking garage. If you'd like I can post the movements on the floorplan for a better feel.
>>
>>83279192
Why not go to /qst/ so we could roll like God intends us to roll?
>>
>>83279125

KIller frost[fatigued, grabbed(vunerable and immobile)]

move action: none
standard action: ice creation to create an ice spike from her chest to strike at jade. is also going for knock back to release the hold. 1D20+5 = [15]+5 = 20.

The attack ties jades parry and in the event of a tie the winner is the defender thus jade avoids the spike and damage.

jade

move action: Lands and pulls at the whip to move killer frost with her. She will use her move object for this.

Standard action: with killer frost in full swing jace throws her into the brick wall using move object.

killer frost toughness save DC23 1D20+10 = [9]+10 = 19. Killer frost fails by 1 degree and acquires a bruise
>>
>>83279467
.... is this going to be BDSM?
>>
>>83279208

I don't know how to use /qst/. I have a campaign based in the DCU if people would be interested in playing.
>>
>>83279467

killer frost[fatigued, 1 bruise]

move action: stands up
standard action: keeping her distance at the wall killer frost proceeds to cold blast jade 1D20+10 = [7]+10 = 17

jade dodges the attack and avoids damage.

Jade

move action: none
standard action: creates a massive hammer and and swings it from above onto killer frosts head. 1D20+9 = [2]+9 = 11

killer frost aboves the hammer strike and damage.
>>
>>83279683

Killer frost[fatigued and 1 bruise]

Move action; moves into the doorway of the waiting area.
standard action: killer frost power stunts her cold control into a burst area of more than 500 feet to bring down the entire garage on jades head. because it is a burst area jade will also have to resist via dodge.

so jade dodge resist DC22 1D20+10 = [2]+10 = 1 jade fails to dodge the burst area and must now make a toughness save vs the full damage DC27 1D20+12 = [12]+12 = 24. That is a 1st degree and jade is bruised.

The building has no means of defending itself and sufferes critcal damage. the building is now crumble. both killer frost and jade must make another dodge resist but killer frost has a circumstance bonus being in the doorway. DC18 to dodge damage DC23 if not dodged/DC19 if dodged

jade 1D20+10 = [11]+10 = 21/toughness save 1D20+12-1 = [20]+12-1 = 31 JADE TANKS THE BUILDING!

killer frost 1D20+10 = [9]+10 = 19/toughness save 1D20+10-1 = [10]+10-1 = 19

Both fighters suffer no damage from the collasping building, but they are now both int he open and the battle field is widened to the whole of opal city.

Jade[1 bruise]

Move action: is going to feint killer frost using deception 1D20+8 = [18]+8 = 26

killer frost makes an insight save to see through the fake out 1D20+8 = [5]+8 = 13 FAIL! killer frost is now vulnerable to jades next attack

Standard action: force blast 1D20+9 = [5]+9 = 14

ouch, even with killer frost being vulnerable she still avoids the strike and damage.
>>
>>83280020

jade[1 bruise]

move action: none
standard action: uses her force creation to make a giant baseball bat
extra effort: swings the bat at killer frost 1D20+9 = [19]+9 = 28

that is a hit. killer frost toughness save DC23 1D20+10-1 = [17]+10-1 = 26. Killer frost tanks the smack from the bat and keeps on.
>>
>>83280257

KIller frost

Move action: none
Standard action: throws the spear at Jade 1D20+4 = [1]+4 = 5 Killer frost will use her Villian point to reroll 1D20+4 = [11]+4 = 15

that is still a miss. jade avoids the spear and damage.

jade [fatigued and 1 bruise]

move action: jade flies at killer frost going for a slam attack
standard action: slam attack 1D20+11 = [14]+11 = 25

that is a hit! because this is a slam though both fighters take damage with jade only taking half the damage.

killer frost DC22 toughness save 1D20+10-1 = [5]+10-1 = 14 that is another bruise and a second degree of damage for her. killer frost is now dazed.

jade DC16 toughness save 1D20+12-1 = [17]+12-1 = 28 JADE TANKS ANOTHER HIT!

the two go flying from the debris pile and into the street
>>
>>83280426

Jade[fatigued and 1 bruise]

move action: none
standard action: force blast 1D20+9 = [8]+9 = 17

that is a miss. killer frost manages to avoid the attack and damage
>>
>>83279494
Dude, if you run a campaign you should totally run a quest on /qst/. There's only been like two cape quests I can think of and I'd love to play one with actual battle mechanics.

/qst/ is basically just a place to run tabletop games. You just write out stories, and let people vote or roll dice to do stuff.
>>
>>83280544
killer frost[exhausted and 2 bruises]

move action: move into the building
standard action: uses her ice creation to make an ice wall at the entry door.

jade[fatigued and 1 bruise]

move action: fly's to the building entry way
standard action: blasts the ice wall in her way it is an auto hit due to it being an object, but because its a created object it gets to roll toughness against the damage. 1D20+7 = [9]+7 = 16

that is 3 degrees. the wall is destroyed by jade.

Can Frost freeze up the entrance to the building? Just to keep Jade out?

I dunno how the mechanics of this game work but Frost is powered up by heat so if she headed to some source of heat in the building or sewer she should be able to recharge.

jade dodges the attack and avoids the affliction.

jade[fatigued and 1 bruise]

move action: none
standard action: jade goes for another force blast, but using the hall as a tunnel she uses her hero point for a power attack and subtracts 5 from her check to add to the effect if it hits.

1D20+9-5 = [18]+9-5 = 22 THATS A HIT! killer frost is hit! killer frost toughness save DC32 1D20+10-2 = [5]+10-2 = 13

killer frost ahas failed the check by 4 degrees and is incapcitated.

I will check it out and see what I can do. If it work's it should be fun. Its a teen titans style case of the week campaign with overarching plots.
>>
>>83281222
Rad. There used to be a very long running Teen Titans quest, so there's definitely an audience.
