Is it weird/wrong that I liked Batman Beyond more than the original animated series?
I just really liked Terry as Batman and Bruce as the old grumpy mentor.
No, BB was really good and more consistently so than BTAS. But man did BTAS have some god tier eps

It could be the canonical future +40-50 years to either Nolan's trilogy or Snyder's work.
Bladerunner + Total Recall(the remake, with all of those badass cityscapes) + other cool stuff.
I loved Old Bruce and NeoGotham so much more than a lot of the "present day" story lines. I loved Barbara in that series as well.
