Miracleman way better as story IMO
Watchmen is all about storytelling in comic books
There is also Pax Americana for better storytelling.
Also Castle of Stars by Alex Alice is pure love and perfection.

memes aside, watchmen is probably one of the best. Whatever inperpretation you're in it for, it stands up to being read multiple times and still holds the same magic.

Wouldn't it be easier to ask "which are better superhero comics than Watchmen"? Since comics is a medium with multiple genres just like film or literature. You wouldn't go to /tv/ and ask "which film is better than Dude Where's my Car?". No, you would ask "which comedy is beter than Dude, Where's my Car?"
But to answer your question, Watchmen is the best superhero comic I've read. But I'm not into geek culture oriented comics so my opinion doesn't weigh much.
Not very hard. Since comics are such a poor medium as pretentious carp like Black Hole pass for deep storytelling.

It's good but I feel like it's overhyped somewhat
It's the best comic if you want to write a paper about. It has a cohesive story with obvious, well told themes and pretty top tier symbolism in the artwork.
As i am twelve though I prefer a big guy who wears his underwear on the outside of a leotard and can destroy a planet due to the power he absorbs from specific suns

It's brilliant it but I prefer Eisner's books overall. They perfectly combine story with visuals and use the medium to its fullest.
