Ohhhh God! The media circle, the outrage, the bullshit, the boycotts... Did DC really needed this controversy? Wasn't the promise of good stories with that old DC feel enough to get people on board? Why do this? Of all things that tey could have done, all gimmicks, and shout outs and fanservice, why this? Why turn it into a thing at all? You could have just had a new stupid bad guy like Monarch or the Gentry or whoever, the Wolly return and the Joker reveal, and done, DC Rebirth is both a critical and commercial success, but no, you have to fucking do it... It's feels like desperation.

Moore has said he doesn't really care what DC does as long as no one bothers him about it.
But it is precisely because he said that everyone and their mother is going to knock on his door by the hour to ask him what he thinks about this.
Each will be somehow shocked and confused when he becomes increasingly frustrated not by what's happening, but the fact he is being pestered over things he has no interest or involvement in. He will finally write his thoughts on the matter in a very scathing fashion to bring an end to it, cue everyone ironically asking why he thinks his opinion is so important.
The only winning move is not to play.
