Fantastic planet. Bsed on the novel ohms by the dozen. Visually appealing, great sound track, kinda lethargic story wise.. overall a cool weirdo movie.

It also has many references to the cold war:
"Neither the Ohms nor the Draags want to destroy themselves, we must somehow make peace". Its also suggested Earth nuked itself to oblivion when the Draags found them: "Some suggest they may actually be an intelligent species, but seeing as they destroyed their own civilization, probably not."
