Lighthearted fun.
The ending felt rushed, though.

Comfy and fun. Some of the best music wise.

My only complaint is that each episode uses the same formula's in almost every episode.
>Phinease and Ferb build this
>Perry goes to stop Dr.Doof and what he built
>Perry gets trapped, Doof explains machine
>Candice wants to bust boys
>Phinease and Ferb has fun with what they built, maybe even a song
>Perry escapes, does something to Doof's machine that stops his plan and unintentionally destroys whatever Phinease and Ferb built
>Candice brings mom home right after the building is destroyed
>Candice becomes depressed because she realizes her life is is just some cruel joke by the universe as her brothers have the talent to make incredibl things, but at the same time its dangerous and when she tries to tell their mother on them, it always goes away and she is left looking like the crazy person in a summer that just won't end
>Candice eventually commits suicide after seeing her best friend giving Jeremy a blowjob
>Phineas and Ferb blames themselves and stop's building shit as it just makes them more guilty for being one of he causes of their sister's suicide
> Their mother becomes alcoholic as she blames herself for repeatedly calling her crazy , which leads to ferb's father divorcing her and moving back to britian, separating phineas and ferb continents apart
>Perry comes back from defeating Doof by turning his own machine against or something
>"there you are Perry"
maybe if they changed things up a bit from time to time, I would have given the show more after the first few seasons

I agree with you, but that's their thing. They have multiple episodes where they talk/sing about how it's their thing so you know the writers didn't mind.
Anyway I couldn't watch it anymore by the time the movie came out, and I gave the Star Wars special 10 minutes before I gave up.

I can understand your frustration, but the whole show was about setting clitches and then breaking them in one episode. And I liked how in some later episodes characters were aware of this.
>Hey Agent P, I had no time to check doof today, but he is always doing somethig evil, so go defeat him.
And all parodies they made were top notch.
Neo-Disney crap

It was a fun roller-coaster ride, but glad it ended on a high note....
>But still meh..

its a fun show. i don't like much the main duo, but Candace and Doof/Perry are good and fun characters. Idem some secondary characters like Isabella, Stacy and the Fireside Girls. Some songs are awful while others are amazing.

At least things worked out in the end..
Top of the morning, bump?

The writing was pretty nice, the character designs and coloration were ugly but some would say that's what gave the show its charm.
My main issue with it was that the show was called "Phineas and Ferb" yet Phineas does 90% of the talking every episode and Ferb is just an afterthought/buttmonkey for Phineas. Even when they tried to give Ferb his "moments", they felt more obligatory than natural.
Doof and Candace were the best parts, Agent P will never be what Secret Squirrel and (Dial M for) Monkey were.

The formula is what made it good, you don't see formulas in cartoons anymore. Nowadays it's either just chaos for children with ADHD or SU-like slice of life pseudo-anime crap.
>>82956796
The fact that everyone in the show was very much aware of the formula helped though

>you don't see formulas in cartoons anymore.
Was Candace psychotic or what?
>>82955612
Is there a hypercut of all the Perry/Doof segments.
>>82961962
Loved the occasional fourth wall break and most jokes were smart enough to entertain adults who also watched..
>One of the most smashing jokes in any show to date.
>>82963806
Love how Linda takes it all in stride.
Why doesn't Candace have professional help?
>>82965022
Linda believes it to be a phase that Candace is experiencing growing up...
>>82956796
>And Ferb says…
>>82962174
that's not really a formula though
>>82961733
If you stop to think Candace is the real MC. Most of the action is following her attempts to expose them to her mother.
My only gripe was that Stacy was turned into the guest star character due to Ms.Hu's success, plus dumbed down in the last season.
I know she pretty much gave up on trying to convince Candace to quit busting the boys, but to let her stick her finger in a spider cage...REALLY?
>I missed that voice of reason she played soo well.
>>82963453
She's just trying to be the responsible older sister, knowing some of the shit Phineas & Ferb do, one false move and they're fucked and it's all on her. Unfortunately it never worked out that way, so her mom thinks she's a bit nuts and the boys are just playing.
*sweats*
>>82965473
>Hey guys go do a mundane thing
>OH WOW THIS MUNDANE THING TURNED INTO A TRIPPY UNIVERSAL HAPPENSTANCE
I mean it's not as beat for beat as P&F or others but that's the gist of ~80% of the damn episodes.
>>82966058
she was always a spacecase though
>>82966529
yeah so it's not a formula, it's more like... a routine? no it's not even a routine really, a routine would be like i love lucy. this is like.. i dunno there's a word for it, and yeah it's in every episode more or less.
>>82966612
actually no i take it back, RS basically is like i love lucy. you know shit's going to get out of hand in a comically exaggerated fashion.
>>82966612
Agreed, Candace was nuttier than a bag of popcorn.
But she had her moments...
>>82955612
It was a good show.
Got pretty repetitive in the long run but thal can't be helped since it was one of Disney's hit shows.
>>82968983
naw i was talking about stacy "what's airline food?" hirano
