Honestly? I just find it incredibly boring and the characters don't have as much chemistry between each other as the original roster. I only continue reading it for Catman, but that's been a disappointment of it's own, since despite being the main selling point of this book and arguably the main character, he doesn't get a character arc of his own. Not to mention I really hated what Simone did with Ralph and Sue Dibny and the whole Riddler story made absolutely no sense.

Barely even happens, sadly - we're at that awkward point when everyone tries to do it, but nobody really knows how to and it ends up feeling forced.
The real problem is that we're just not used to it, so each time a character ends up being gay we question the point of it instead of just taking it as-is. And, well, it will feel forced for a while because in all honesty, a character's sexual orientation is something that would usually barely matter in the context of the story.
If it doesn't matter and is still explored, it feels forced because in the end who gives a shit if it has nothing to do with the plot. If it's made to matter and centers the context of the story around it, it feels forced because you get that sore feeling of being force-fed muh progressive representashun.
A good example of it being done right, if in a somewhat old-fashioned way, is one of the early 90's story arcs in The Sandman (A Game of You, i believe) - there's a lesbian couple, it's clearly pointed out that they're lesbians and it's made relevant to the context, but the story doesn't really make that big a deal out of it.

I thought Batwoman (before they changed writers), Midnighter and the current Constantine did a good job of it. I also liked Rictor and Shatterstar, but otherwise I can't think of any other Marvel characters that I enjoyed. Maybe because most of their gay characters are stuck in team books with no proper character development and if they do get a story, it revolves around them being gay. Angela's the only solo title I can think of, but that book is terrible in every way.

I think the audience is the problem, not the writers, because no matter how good the writer portrays a character's sexuality, if the reader isn't as open-minded as some people it will almost always feel forced.
For example in Secret Six, Scandal and Knockout were always lovey-dovey but i never felt like it was forced because i saw it as two couples loving each other, whereas if you showed this to someone who isn't open to the idea they'll feel it's forced because of how frequent the two characters show their love for each other.
I'm just thankful that people are now getting used to the idea of second genders and anyone who's inside it isn't made such a big deal as it were before.
