I'm a huge comics fan. However, I refuse to read comics published before I was born (1998). I just think anything older than that can't be current and will be shitty and out-of-date.

Does anyone else here do the same thing?

I know you've admitted this to us because you feel guilty, and you're sorry, but it's ok, we still love you, and we have the cure for your sickness
read Doom Patrol starting with My Greatest Adventure

Okay let's salvage this shitty thread and discuess Cataclysm and No Man's Land.

I personally felt like Cataclysm wasn't that great, at lot of the art was wonky and many of the tie-ins were quite bad. No Man's Land was great stuff however.

No Man's Land was very uneven. You could have a few great issues followed immediately by several really shit ones, and vice versa, with little rhyme or reason. And this applies to both art and writing.

I loved Cataclysm. The Nightwing issue where he saves the families from the collapsing train is one of the most memorable moments in comics for me.

No. Everyone else here has read Watchmen except for you. Enjoy your All-New, All Different shit fest.

In general I kind of agree, but I feel like NML is one of those events that is very much greater than the sum of its parts. The overall narrative of Gotham as a whole is great.

Please be bait

All New All Different>Watchmen

Of course it is, it's also incredibly lazy bait. usually they at least give some BS reasons why the new stuff is better.

That admittedly was great.
