Fun fact:black panthers aren't actually a species. They're mutated leopards or jaguars that have too much melanin. Black panther generally refers to any big cat that's all black. So if there were an all black lion or tiger they'd be referred to as a panther too, but I don't believe any cases of the mutation has been observed in lions or tigers.
