Aren't we do for another He-Man reboot?

>INB4 CalArt He-man discussion

Nah seriously guys.
>>
The toy marked has changed so much I'm sure if there is a He Man reboot it won't have a cartoon.
Easlier we will see a toys to life line.

You know what might actually work?

A new He-Man game. Vidya is very marketable.

Too homo for today's kids.

You know that's not a bad idea.

I think you mean not homo enough.

Just shove possable action figures down our kids throats, they need to use their imaginations more these days.
>>
He-Man was always shit.
The only reason for me to give a shit about it is Skeletor.

She-Ra is more interesting. I'd rather watch The Great Rebellion than a skeleton trying to break into a castle.

"Toys-to-Life" He-Man game is potentially most profitable, but also the hardest to actually launch I feel.

A He-Man game reboot would be pretty cool, they could get away with doing some stuff that would strain a show's budget.

>He-Man Musou style
>Small roster of core characters
>Larger battlefields
>Literally smashing action figures together: the game

>>82787856
There's numerous ways to make He-Man compelling, but I feel that if you made the setting really interesting (isn't Eternia seated at the center of the universe?), then the plot will write itself. Basically avoid everything Thundercats 2011 got wrong, although that's pretty much everything.

I feel like if anything came close to doing on purpose what He-Man managed to do by accident, it was "Brave and the Bold."
Where it was always a bit silly, but you could still get invested in the characters and there were a couple of serious episodes.
That's what I would want out of a He-Man revival.

They have to get over most of the silly elements and go full epic fantasy Warcraft style. Like they did in the 200X cartoon, or in the recent DC comics. Especially since Sony's movie would be the next, not a cartoon.
>>
As long as they got the format right, unlike 2002 He-man. I mean the thing is 99% of the time he-man shows up, kicks ass, and the villain either didn't know who he was and so was throwing everything and the kitchen sink at him, or it was skeletor and his lackeys hoping he didn't show up unless they were springing a trap. 2002 had some good designs and an origin story, but spent a lot of time trying to play up the threat of skeletor's gang, meaning he-man spent a lot of time getting pushed around.
>>
>>82788915
The 200X it was miles better than the crap parody that was Filmation, which had no story at all.
>>
>>82783863
It isnt. Theres a reason THQ went bankrupt and licensed games on general are dead. The only thing left is mobile gaming.
