Can any /co/ boxers defeat Ippo?
I suppose technically he is a boxer.
Homer Simpson would tire him out and then beat him with one blow after he's winded.
He was an amateur in the asian leagues.
There are at least 500 people in his weight group that could wipe the canvas with him.
Why don't you use /a/s strongest boxer?
This guy can blow up buildings.

This.

Why does he have a moustache on his head?
How about this guy?

Wildcat could probably wipe the floor with him but Ippo might bust his ribs up. Ippo's not even close to best boxer in his own series though, Takamura or Martinez are way better in every way. And even past them there's stronger boxing characters in non-boxing series AND in pure boxing sports series.

Bare knuckle boxing =/= boxing

But Popeye use gloves during his boxing fights.

Really? I watched the anime of it and I thought he wound up becoming Japan's champion in his weight class. Granted internationally he's pretty shit but being Japan's best is hardly amateur.

Does he have oxygen in his Yamato Damashii samurai blood muscles?
>>82726356
he can't cope with confrontations

Gotta be something up with Ippo, he should be a vegetable by now considering the amount of damage he has taken in his fights, he's basically a punching bag for most of his matches.
Yet I love this goddamn series.

Ippo would lose the match because his way of fight is the homer simpsons style.
The man gets fuck by his enemy the whole fight and then in the last round he use his 420 dimensional dempsey roll and wins.
I like Hajime No Ippo but the manga doesn't go somewhere and the anime starts suffering from this in the second and third show (new challenger and rising)
Even Joe Yabuki was already suffering from brain damage before his fight against Mendoza and he didn't got half of what Ippo's brain gets in every fight.
Better question can any /co/ character beat
Super Aryan Hitler at mahjong?

Pretty much this.
I'm not even a carded boxer, but I could beat the shit out of Ippo; not because I'm some tough guy or because I think I'm physically fitter than him, but because Ippo is so painfully predictable and so painfully easy to mindfuck.
The reason why Ippo would be so easy to beat is because he only thinks about two things whilst fighting:
>How many times can I hit him
and
>Keep moving forward
This is how you get counterpunched ladies and gentlemen. Pro-boxers fall victim to this mentality when they get enraged by the other guy mentally fucking with them, he does this because once you become tense and insecure whilst fighting someone you try and mask it with rage; you then become ripe for a knockout.
