Has it occurred to you that you are not seeing the people who feel the same way as you, because they are acting the same way as you are? They think they can't connect, so they don't, and they hide and they think they are broken and incapable of connecting. In reality, this is called depression and social anxiety. It sounds like you could really benefit from some on campus mental health programs. Most colleges have those these days, take advantage of it. It can really turn things around. Once again, trust me. I too was convinced I could never connect and no one would ever like me because I am an awkward fuck up who (honestly) can't do a damn thing right. But then I got some treatment and while I still have lots of self worth issues, and have many days where I can't even look at other people because of how awful it all seems, but I now have friends and and even a SO! It is hard, and terrifying, but very worth it.
Of course people get tired of their SO sometimes. Sometimes people need to be alone, sometimes our SO's make us hate them. But you can hate someone and still love them too. It is a very emotionally consuming endeavor, but if you are in the right relationship you get much more emotional support than you can consume. If the idea of having a relationship at all just seems wrong to you, have you thought you may be asexual? It's a real thing.
And by the way, you are clearly capable of connecting with others. You are doing it right now and are doing just fine. Text is different sure, but it's a starting point.
