Is this going to be one of the hardest costume to adapt to the screen without potentially pissing off fans /co/?
>people expect live action costumes to look like comics
He's probably just wear a green shirt and yellow baseball cap.
>>82675641
You mean a black bulletproof vest?
hopefully they don't try
>>82675466
I'd imagine they'll go with his current reverse-Bruce Lee look.
shirtless karate pants from immortal weapon is the best to adapt. easy to recreate accurately, looks good, and easy to believe he'd wear it.
but it makes too much sense so I doubt they'll do it
They probably won't go with his classic look, because the Ultra V-Neck probably won't look good in live action.
They'll probably go with the Immortal Iron Fist or The Living Weapon costumes or, god help us, the New Avengers White one.
Hard part's the mask. I hope they try.
i'm okay with the slippers being replaced with boots of some kind..
>>82676350
yeah what ever happened to shirtless martial arts characters? they were cool
>>82675641
>implying that much color would ever be allowed
>>82675466
They already pissed off a shit-load of people with the casting anyway so they really have nothing to lose.
I'll be happy if he wears a green shirt
>>82675466
His costume will probably be some kind of a martial arts kimono or whatever.
Has a bandana mask ever been done properly in live action?
>>82676464
This. The rest really doesn't matter as much.
>>82676556
No eyes though.
>>82676556
>>82675466
>iron fist
>fans
>>82676479
>yeah what ever happened to shirtless martial arts characters? they were cool
they get injured a lot, it makes insurance costs rocket and you end up paying them more
>>82675466
Can't be worse than current Meme Fist.
Doesn't matter, they've got 12 episodes to think it over while he wears this.
>>82675466
>>82675466
He'll get some sort of muted green/yellow body armor for 5 minutes at the end of the season.
>>82676802
why?
>>82675466
there's literally no way he's going to have the tattoo, which completely ruins the costume from the outset
>>82676989
>there's literally no way he's going to have the tattoo
Why? Really doesn't seem to be the most crazy part of the costume, it's really not hard to do.
>>82676953
What?
>>82677113
why would he wear that?
>>82677295
What?
>>82677445
that outfit. doesn't make sense he'd wear it. he's probably more bullet proof than that armor.
>>82677295
Because it's 2010s, Superheroes are tacticool now.
>>82675466
the important question is, will his fist glow?
>>82677527
Boots, plus body armor is tacticool?
>>82675466
I don't think there's any possible way to make the mask look good in real life. Even here >>82677445
in a video game it look sgoofy
will he have the big ass chest tattoo?
>>82675466
pic related should be the costume
will there be a tournament?
>>82677571
Compared to his normal style, yes, though definitely not the most ludicrous example.
>>82676484
They would have pissed off a shit-load of people no matter who they cast. It was a lose-lose from day one.
>>82675697
Iron Fist is gonna be Tony?
>>82677885
>pouches
For what purpose? Does he have Fistarangs in them?
Just make that costume but with a smaller collar. There's nothing wrong with it.
>>82678061
That's Orson Randall. He was an Iron Fist who used handguns and fought in the first world war.
>>82678061
Not that Anon, but I'd assume they have general crime-fighting implements in them. Stuff like gauze/tape, flex-cuffs, flares, cash, lock-pick set etc. Everything a crime-fighter needs, ya know?
>>82677714
This.
>>82678858
>iron dick
>>82678914
>>82678808
Huh. It does kind of work.
TV/movie people tend to be affraid of yellow though.
>>82676646
the fuck is a shirt going to protect?
>>82680160
the nipples
Those are the moneymakers
