I just explained in that post that it uses several themes. Good writing does not literally ape an ancient story role for role. We've seen enough of yellow diamond to know she's not a fusion, the rest are ambiguous thought. Blue Diamond may or may not have an extra pair of arms and there seems to be two different white diamonds: one with her gem on her head and one with her gem on her chest. the issue is the gem placement conflict. The pyramid gem has her gem on her chest in every depiction, but the moon base mural has the gem on her head. It's pretty clear this was planned from the beginning, since the pyramid gem has diamond markings on her head even though she has her gem on her chest. gemstones don't move around during regeneration or shapeshifting so she couldn't have moved her gemstone either between forms. There is no good reason why they would have bured her with the gem on her chest and a mural of her with her gem in the same place, so these can only be two different gems
