His right arm really throws off the flow of an otherwise decent piece, it should be more streamlined to match the rest of the body. A shame because it throws a wrench into the workings of an otherwise decent painting.

He basically called his painting of himself as an amorphous blob "headstrong (or honest) and overconfident"
