Artists that got worse as they went on thread?
I loved JRJR's run on ASM in the 500s, but looking back I think his art was a lot better in the 200s when he was emulating his father. Still, his art is fairly iconic, for what it's worth.
Worse still, John Byrne. Holy SHIT man, what happened? I mean, the proportions got so skewed that he went from drawing Spider-MAN to Spider-Kid. JRJR's rather gangly Spidey at least worked for him, but Byrne just went down.

I was thinking about getting his Batman Unwrapped, it looked enticing but the reviews say the resolution is piss.
The man drew a damn good MJ, but his Spidey was too scrawny.

bryan hitch
deodato although I was never a big fan

Hitch is still good. He just needs better inkers. His JLA is definitely better than AOU and Fantastic Four.

JRJR was great up through the 90s or so. Once he started rushing his work it turned to shit.
Byrne's style never changed that much really. It just got overly streamlined.
Bryan Hitch
Frank Miller (due to alcoholism apparently)
John Cassaday
John Romita Jr.
Howard Chaykin (you younger readers need to look up American Flagg! or Time2 and see how brilliant he used to be, this is probably THE biggest example of a top tier artist declining in quality)

I still think Junior's work would look decent if they brought back someone who knew how to work with it. Dan Green for example.
travel foreman went for great to half assed shit in a year
