i thought it was awesome as fuck. i immediately started drawing people with all kinds of pop-out blades. between this and x-men evolution sort of re-reminding me about wolverine, i was thinking about it a lot. ended up designing an edgy sumbitch with a ton of subdermal blades and tentacles, and scythes that burst out of his upper arms to swing out from his elbows.
as well as one with plates folded inside who could pop them out and form a decent bit of armor, plus a katana in several pieces that could emerge and link up.

I blew out all my edginess as a kid when I designed an X-Men OC that was just spikes out of everywhere. X-23 spikes, Wolverine spikes, Lady Deathstrike's spikes, plus like a thousand more spikes.
