What went wrong?
Nothing, it was broken from the beginning. Bad art, bad writing, trying to cash in on a "two gamer friends" webcomic trend.

Hmmm. I wonder.
>>82499901.... MY BABY DIED!
Honestly it's not a question of what went wrong
Things were never good from the start. What happened was that as the internet became more common place and artists began finding their niches, more webcomics with better art and humor starting appearing.
CAD was never good, it was just an early bird.
>>82499806
Was expired on a already shitty webcomic
>>82499806
they didn't keep the watermelon
>>82499806
A lot, a whole lot.
It only got a fan base because it started so early in the early days of the internet as we know it.
Like all web comics that start to suck, the majority of fans who had been reading for a long time were either blind to how bad it was or just couldn't stop reading.
>>82493522 and >>82489480 are examples of this.
The sin that really got CAD was loss, that was the moment when many people's eyes were opened to the truth.

I'm pretty sure I started reading CAD because I was 11, and the only thing that really opened my eyes was age. I had already stopped reading CAD for years because it sucked when Loss happened. I think for most people, Loss was like, hearing about a the train you hopped off of ages ago got into a wreck.
I think it was really the "spend four panels explaining a joke that wasn't funny to begin with" thing that really got me to stop. I started to notice this... and the fucking official CAD cartoon happened and I knew something was wrong here.

>When he streamed himself making strips using saved asset eyes/mouths/nose
That was a sad day.
Like, pathetic sad, not boo-hoo sad.

>>82501579
>Ever taking Watchmojo seriously ever
They shill and pander just as hard as any other faggot top 10 list if not harder for those precious views.
It started a so terrible its funny gaming comic but then Buckley thought people wanted drama with their 2-dimensional characters.
Honestly since he killed off ethan and all that shit, his comics are actually passable.
But now he'll never outrun the meme that is loss

Step 3 : earn 3.7k a month.
>>82501564

paying money for the CAD animated series is still the biggest regret i have in my life
>>82502448
Do you see it?
>>82506345
You deserve it. You give a retard a calculator, he's going to try to turn the TV on with it.

When did heels abro and sweet Jeff get bad? Sorry, I call y USSR phone well

Superior vampire loss incoming.
If I was an editor at some comic maker company, I'd totally sneak loss into variant covers
