The lines are kind of blurry because obviously Roxy has the ability to summon things for personal use. A role is more than just powers, but their role in the story. Rogues are also more about where the thing they steal leaves from than wear it goes. Thieves take stuff for themselves, focusing their aspect on their own person. Rogues take from something and distribute their aspect around-- typically to their allies, but not necessarily.
It's important to note that Roxy didn't actually steal the matriorb. She dispersed from the orb its nothingness, leaving an object, and that's the extent of the power.
A Thief of Void probably wouldn't be able to conjure objects at all, their powers would be focused on taking things that other people have obscured for their own use, stealing secrets, stealing hiding places, stealing their ability to be unobserved.
A Rogue of Light wouldn't necessarily go "your luck is now my allies' " so much as "Your luck is now gone, and everything around you is slightly luckier, hopefully including my allies".

Well there you go then, that's a pretty solid connection to the Rogue aspect. You could certainly see examples of roguish behavior with Nepeta and Roxy, I suppose Ruffio's adventures in relationships could be considered similar but we don't know much about the guy so it's hard to say. At least with Nepeta and Roxy we know they were both mischievous, happy to act on their own desires against the established norm and both felt solitary and struggled to interact with others meaningfully despite being well liked.
