This issue is the worst of both.
The most interesting thing about Gwen is her AU. Take her out of it and she's even more or a waste of space dead meme girl.
And without Thompson writing her and kawaii art, Silk is pretty pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I like her title, but here she is wholly ineffectual.
And Silk-65 is asinine. Oh woe is me, I hate my petty bougie life so I release irritated spiders into the world to see what happens. Oh, my experiment created a superhero? I'll become a supervillain because, reasons.
