I mean Marvel owns Taskmaster's movie rights. Fox had owned them at one point but they never used him so the rights reverted. He was not tied to any other characters -- when his movie rights were licensed, Tasky was getting a brief push with the Udon minis and things like that. It sounded like Ryan Reynolds and others really wanted him for Deadpool.
