Yeah, Sparky the Fairy Dog. Spent his first episode fucking everything up and when he tried to help, he made things worse for Timmy. After that they hardly use him because bumbling idiot is already taken by Cosmo. Also, he was Crocker's pet. He's a late-addition character that never took off so they retired him.

Yeah, unlike most I did think he was a funny character, but he wasnt a very good character.
For one, he completely deserved to be returned to the pet store all those times because he's destructive. He jumped out of an airplane with the only parachute despite knowing how to fly, and Timmy got fucked
Secondly, he was hard to integrate in plots that werent about him. He's not /really/ a fairy so that's not much Fairy stuff to do that isnt related to Timmy, he's a dog so he cant interact with the town without some thrown in reason to explain away his talking
Poof had the ability to add several new plots and characters to the show that seemed natural, and blend into the background when he wasnt needed.
Chloe being a godkid means she more naturally meshes into any plot the show could have, and also adds new dynamics for pretty much every main character. She also different enough from all the other main characters to add unique perspectives to each episode
Sparky did neither of those things, which is why he sucked.
