Epic Fantasy = Grand, world-shaking events.

On the John Byrne Says twitter I learned that Byrne wanted Pyro to be gay too. Also Northstar became gay pretty much by process of elimination. He wanted a gay character on the team and he didn't think anyone else would work

Because above anything else, that's what annoyed me about Bobby's outing. Northstar eventually lost all personality traits besides "is gay" despite the thick solid reasoning why he was generally an asshole to people.
