Good morning everyone and welcome back to this week's symbiote thread. You all know the drill, now, let's get to work
>>82384591
Carnage ongoing > Space Knight Venom ongoing
>>82384982
I will agree with this, Venom is suffering getting Bendis'ed, but I have faith in Thompson, hell that guy took Slott's OC and turned her into a great fun character, I think he can do the same with space Venom.
>>82385110
there is a reason why carnage is selling better than venom, space adventures has been the GotG thing for 3 years ago, Venom/Flash doesnt bring too much to the table.
While the writer of carnage is doing a spin to the character by making him deal with magic, and no any magic but Chutulu like magic from the marvel universe
>>82385198
And the fact that Clethus is actually acting like that unsettling stranger you first meet before he puts his game face on rather than his Edgy-90's anarchy personality makes it a nicer read too
>>82385198
I wouldn't say that Venom doesn't bring anything to the table, his comic is all aboit his crazy Sci if adventures in space whereas Cletus is dealing with magic, it's just people prefer magic adventures to cosmic adventures, the only other space faring titles that Marvel has are Guardians of Bendis, The Ultimates, and I guess Captain Marvel.
>>82385295
>Clethus
>Clethulu
I like this
>>82384982
Shit story vs. Shit art.... Hard decision actually.
>>82386087
I disagree, I really like the art work in both comics, sadly I haven't read more than one issue of Venom as I'm trade waitting, but the writing didn't seem all that bad. Far better than what we got with Bendis, and the writing is Carnage hasn't been groundbreaking, but it's enjoyable.
>>82386189
Venom's art are tracings of poser models and while I'm an issue behind on Carnage everything about it seemed like it was forced, Brock sucked, Jameson did nothing, and the military stuff was slow and ate up time without actually doing anything.
>>82386315
I can understand that, it is a very slow moving book, the build up to Sea Devil took longer than it should have and Brock being a side character was pretty week, but the latest issue (not pic related) has been picking up traction. Sorry that you don't enjoy the current bit of Symbiote goodness that Marvel is producing right now anon, I hope they give you something great in the future.
>>82385310
Space marvel is cáncer now, and i dont consider ultimates space, they deal with beyond cosmic threats
>>82386464
Eh, to be honest I was never a fan of cosmic stuff.
>>82386697
it's hard to take some one who was initially working on the street level, working for the army and being on teams to put down bad guys, and then just toss them into space and say "Job well done"
Cosmic stuff that STARTS cosmic and continues from there? Works fine. They only really struggle when you put them on earth to deal with more mundane issues.
I've mad ethe comparison before with that alternate panel of Nova chewing out Tony for the Civil War while he was out there fighting Annihilus.
Whoo hoo! I'm not late for once!
Have an Anti-Venom ass.
It's Brock posting time already?
>>82387315
is it ever not?
>>82387379
Look at those fookin' teeth!
>>82387007
>>82387315
>>82387379
Where can I read more anti venom? I already read Spider Island, the comic just before where he tries to get Mr.Negative, and that one where he rips a drug dealer in half or whatever because he fell in love with the drug addict girl and Punisher tried franking him.
>>82384591
storytime carnage faggys!
>>82388202
SHE'S NOT A JUNKIE
and that's pretty much it besides his origin in New Ways to Die and a story that tells how he found out who Mr. Negative is in Amazing Spider-Man Extra 2
>>82388472
Darn. Thanks Obama. I mean Slott. I mean Bendis. I mean Quesada. I mean Reed Richards.
>>82388602
At least we all know who isn't at fault.
Cyclops.
>>82386414
I think the writer might have been forced to stretch out the story so it could fit in the first trade.
>>82388221
If it's slow when I get to work I'll storytime last week's issue of Carnage
>>82389769
yay!
Klyntar
>>82390410
Still not bothered by this.
I just finished Superior Ironman last night, this suit was fucking amazing
>>82390809
What's this from?
>>82390842
>I will not be aroused
>I will not be aroused
>I will not
>Dammit
>>82391348
don't fight it
Will he ever put the band back together?
>>82392589
y'know, what happens to your shit if you have an Symbiote on and you don't take it of. Does it just stay in there?
Why did they do this to Toxin? Why did they make him red and black? Why not his original colors? I'm very upset with what's become of Toxin.
>>82392842
Okay hear me out
Eddie is a vary envious person
When he first became Venom he did nothing fancy with the look, just Black suit with teeth, as if he was like "screw Spider-Man, I can do it better!" then when he turned into Anti-Venom the eyes inside the eyes and spider symbol mimicked Scorpion Venom's look, it could be a jab at him being angry that the suit is with a new host. Now when we first meet Eddie in the Carnage book he's had two show downs with Flash, one Toxin was in control so he looked more like what Toxin wanted.
>>82392985
By the second showdown Eddie and Toxin are sort of getting along, but after Flash tells off Eddie pointing out how he screwed himself over and how he'll do better as Venom, Eddie/Toxin have time to think this over. When Eddie first shows up in the Carnage books he makes football references, this could be a settle jab at the FBI getting him and not Flash and his look being him once again going "screw you, I can do it better!"
>>82391090
The current Captain America series (the one with Sam).
It's Karl Malus (Superior Carnage). The symbiote eventually shat him (as a symbiote/human hybrid) out after eating him.
>>82392985
But anon! Toxin deserves better than this.
>>82393065
>>82393252
I have to admit, I'm blown away by this
>>82393364
it's a neat lookin costume
but the fact that that's supposed to be Carnage?
Nuh uh.
>>82393337
Someone explain why Venom reverts to his old Eddie Venom appearance despite being cleansed?
>>82393364
I think everyone was.
>>82393404
It's like, Angry Battle Mode now, or something.
>>82393252
Cool. It's hard to remember sometimes that the symbiotes arent just goo and actually an alien species, Which opens them up for other things like Cyborg symbiotes (Like Scorn) and hybrids
>>82393451
DO you think Toxin misses Pat?
>>82393337
>>82393508
We know so
it's been trying to help Eddie
>>82393337
>>82393554
>>82393621
Oh Cletus
>>82393404
It's the only way they can sell the book. Notice how Venom looks more like that on all the new covers and how Flash looks exactly like Eddie.
>>82393621
They belong together, they see each other in the mirror.
I know it's not Symbiote related buy anyone happy Peter will see Kaine again?
>>82394819
So fucking happy, Kane was a lot of fun for a rage filled imperfect clone
>>82395273
everyone but Venom looks confused
it's adorable
>>82395709
that's super cute
>>82395891
>dat unchanged Julia
Pfft.
>>82389769
ty dud, ur not a faggy anymore
>>82396678
Thank you anon
>>82396896
did they even go after Carnage with UV or Fire or Sonic weaponry?
Random cultist 1 : SHIELD -1 Billion
>>82396940
They went after him with a crazy amount of sonic weapons, but that caused a mine to collapse and fuck shit up
Apparently page 10 was too large, so I just took a screen shot with my phone, sorry for the low quality
>>82396940
It's the FBI not SHIELD
>>82397200
oh well then, their ineffectual nature makes more sense now
It's just Water Brock, Reed's nanobots are what's holding you back!!
>>82397230
I wish it was CIA
Love this fucking page, Eddie just doesn't care while a horror movie happens right outside the door.
>>82397280
dude's lived a life of nonsense, ain't much can ruffle his tentacles now
>>82397280
Shouldn't he be super concerned for the deaths of innocents right out the door?
>>82397280
Why does everyone tell him to shut up?
>>82397345
>FBI
>Innocent
besides, he hasnt been all "muh innocents" for a while has he?
>>82397345
I'm pretty sure Brock knows that unless you are a child you are never truely innocent. Besides, they are government workers, you know they have to be twisted as fuck.
And we end with Celtus' glorious red ass.
>>82397386
He was right before becoming Toxin. I'm just gonna throw this one under the "writers since the 2000's really don't know what to do with Eddie Brock" thing. Shame since giving up the Anti-Venom suit was the perfect way to retire his character.
>>82397428
Nah he used to treat plenty of adults like they were sin free too
>>82397428
red symbiote spider-booty
>>82397549
>>82397215
She wants the Brock so bad.
>>82397976
We all want the Rock Hard Brock, anon
>>82398040
Do you not?
>>82398348
We all do, that's what I just said anon..
>>82393945There needs to be porn of this
>>82398446
there is
They have two Rule 34 pics
>>82398421
How do I keep my lust for Brock under control?
>>82398930
Better then nothing
>>82398819
I need a dump of every single Venom/Toph image ever created.
>>82398860
You don't
>>82399024
K
>>82399024

>>82399375
so... I've gotta ask about this Toph shit
Whyyyyy?
Where's the thread? What's the connection?
I just... I don't get it?
>>82399470
Okay Anon sit down and I'll explain it
You see long ago when the fist Avatar cartoon hit someone made shitty edits of Brolly from Dragonball Z and Toph together and cap lock posted how they are married. /co/ retaliated by shipping Toph with the most beloved character Venom and the rest is what you see and two Rule 34 pics
>>82399582
Venom > Brolly
>>82399582
I'm... I'm gonna go drink.
>>82399403
>>82399691
>>82399582
How did he react?
Anyone got the image where Venom is bear hugging Toph from behind?
>>82399779
He stopped posting
>>82399693
>>82399830
right here
>>82393945
>>82399873
Ah, thanks, missed it.
>>82399831
..... I'd drink it
>>82399916
We all would

>There will never be symbiote vending machines readily available near retail establishments
>You will never know the pleasure of shoving your hard earned money into the slot then debating on which brand of symbiote to go with
>You will neverfeel the frustration of witnessing the symbiote you chose after a minute of pondering get stuck in the machine followed by the eventual satisfaction of freeing it after shaking/kicking the damn thing for half an hour
Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
>>82401680
I did not have this nightmare before
Now I will never be able to escape it
>>82401680
>Open up the can, finally freeing your slimy companion from it's tin prison
>You witness first hand as it covers your body, forming the iconic outfit that has graced the covers of comic-books for generations now
>You realize that something is wrong
>The suit's not talking back to you no matter how hard you try to mentally communicate with it
>Look down at can for fine print
>It turns out to be lobotomized clone that will deteriorate and expire after 48 hours
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZuzw2TCNSU
>>82402564
>>82402975
that art is bad
but that suit is adorable
>>82390410
>>82390453
The name just screams "super generic alien name" though. I prefer to just call them symbiotes.
>>82403349
Kyln-Tar. Get it?
>>82403375
Well now I'm just mad at the laziness. I hate it even more.
>>82403375
cling-tar?
>>82403841
If Flash dies, would Valkyrie take him to Valhalla where he'll forever get to wreck that Asgardian puss?
Hi I got redirected here from a thread I made and I had a question, is this really the last we see of mania? I just finished reading the Venom run and as I understand it hes pretty much a cosmic character at the moment but is mania really dropped from his story completely? Does Marvel acknowledge her at all?
>>82403926
Yup. We're all patiently awaiting her return.
>>82403926
it legitimately is
she's never showed up again, despite the potential
>82403994
>82403979
Awww man that stinks! Thanks for the quick replies though guys! Maybe I'll be lucky and Hasbro will at least release a Marvel Legends Mania I really like her design.
How can Thompsons even compare?
>>82404372
We can only dream anon.
>>82404380
Easy.
>>82403979
Daw i really do kinda miss her, she had some potential
>>82405183
definitely
is this a thread where Symbiote OCs are permitted
>>82405183
I'm trying to get into writing for Marvel with the intention of bringing her and a number of other symbiote characters back oit of Limbo. It's just a dream at this point, but I have been writing out a comic script for a full series which includes Andi/Mania.
>>82405249
You are goddamn right it is. Wanna give a shout out to the anon who drew this.
>>82405249
go for it
>>82403926
Flash is too busy bopping around space with his sub-GotG team of a suicidal robot, killer pandas, and a sexy lady snake.
>>82403979
Jack still shows up every so often, though he's drawn looking like the previous ones, even having the pogo board thing instead of the broom.
>>82406239
god I love Zemo
>>82406019
But Eddie never got to bang a goddess.
>>82406139
It's no Agent Venom, but SpaceKnight is still pretty fun, and I enjoy the art (And for the people who don't like it, Kim Jacinto is replacing the current one soon.)
>>82406721
Have the page with the stolen models in the background?
