K'nuckles was the most interesting, because even though he was a main character and hung out with the heroes, he was never on the "good" side. He did what he wanted, when he wanted, but was always held back by his secret affection towards flapjack and was a sort of father figure to him. Not good, but not bad either. For an episode, either the one with punsie mchale or the magic genie island. The one where flapjack hangs out with the royal people and they rub off on him was good too.

This show rivaled spongebob in ugly closeups, like when K'nuckles accidentally made that wish in the fountain, and climbed in and tried to unwish it. But then at the end he crawls out and everyone is horrified by his face. Pic related.

Years later I started to notice how Knuckles is essentially like a... lazy alcoholic father for flapjack, I should've seen it sooner like how him and ... Bubbles I think (The whale) would argue similar to a couple with a child in a bad relationship where the mother doesn't want the father near the child because he's a bad influence but gives in and lets him back into the house (her mouth). It really made me want to rewatch flapjack as I haven't seen it in years and see if anything else like this or involving this flew over my head.
