>>82318099
Hemorrhagic fever would make a wonderful addition to the world they've already created. I could see a bioweapon being released by creatures associated with the whole pred conspiracy out of pure spite..
The morale will be, "How to accept death and dying of horrible disease."
And
"How to identify psychopaths and why they should never be given positions of power."
Kids today are so fucked up that they would love it.

Sorry, It has already been well established that humans never happened on their world.
But I could see potential with human visitors from another world.
Like their spaceship crashes or something. But I don't see a feature length film coming from that. Maybe just a short.

There will be but it will be a disappointment. But people would love the first movie too much to bash the sequel.
>>82318018
It's going to be like Star Wars 7: it's another Death Star.
It's going to be an upgraded version of night howler, which seems to be the only issue that is unique to the setting.
Surely they can do regular police work and talk about poverty, drugs, theft etc but if it's not tied to the animal nature issue what's the difference from other movies
>>82320630

>>82318018
Some new group of animals in a different part of the city. I don't dislike Judy, but we have already seen her most interesting story, so it's time to move the story to someone new.
More buddy cop action, dealing with more crimes that lead to an underground crime ring. Get more info of Nicks past (possibly as a holiday adventure where Judy's invited to eat dinner with Nicks family, cue embarrassment)
Ultimately still ends on the movie being open ended (main movie villain is defeated but bigger honchos still around)
Keep writing on par of previous movie.
Alternately have an episodic series using high budget 3d (like Rebels/TMNT) having episodic villains but keep it aimed as a whole family show and not just for little kids. Keep the action heavy like older 90's shows. Like Swatkats or Dark Wing, kinda dark but still fun and perky
I know none of this would play out like I would want it to.

How mad are people going to be when they're not a couple in the sequel?
Humans
I don't want any sequel. Not because I don't think they can do it but because I don't want it.
1. Too much of a good thing.
2. They will ruin the first movie in the process
3. It will kill originality.
I know if there is no sequel people will move on and put it in a box and forget it like Andy's toys. But people should move on and there should be only one Toys Story

I'd like to see this. Not as an official sequel, though, but as some kind of fan work.
A sequel needs Clawhauser doing anything at all, cuz damn we need more.
>>82322856
Clawhauser is a shit character and we need less of him, you fat fetishist.
The only animated sequels that surpassed the originalToy Story 2, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Shrek 2all have one thing in common - They always went deeper into the lore. They need to leave Zootopia and go somewhere else in the world.
>>82318082

>>82320863
Is their Soylent Green made of horses?

>>82323014
Surely they could. They would also build to world to sophisticated and give backstories too specific to the characters that they all become unrelatable things on another planet.
Nothing will be sadder if they pin down things.

>judy and nick reconcile and kiss
>shakira plays as gazelle again to make a corny pop love song with credits having the style of a children's book story to show the epilogue
>>82318018
There won't be one because this is just a b side filler movie to tide people over until they complete Live Action Beauty and the Beast and Moana.
Disney does this all the time with films. Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Return to Neverland, Planes.
All of these were made to meet a box office quota until the release of the actual big name movie. They don't get a lot of merch, they rarely get sequels, and they're most of the time forgotten.
So yeah, don't expect a sequel any time soon. Expect a FUCK TON of Moana and Finding Dory spam from them.
>>82323669
And the setting shouldn't be explored.
what good would it bring to establish the medieval age of zootopia for example?
>>82324568
True. We do see her succeed on quick thinking moments over Nick very often though.

>They shoot out the Asylum's sewage pipe, Nick tumbles down while Judy takes a feet first diving pose perfectly

So they're out for seemingly similar reasons as humans.
>>82325198
That's stupid, crows, octopi, elephants and orcas are way smarter than most monkeys.
>>82325247
Only elephants were in the film, and the two prominent ones were shown to be racist/an ass hole, and forgetful.
More interestingly about elephants, they're the only creatures in Zootopia that didn't develop hands it seems, their trunks act as their arm and they never developed digits like every other mammal.
Thought that was a pretty awesome tough, they'd be fucking insane if they had 3 arms and that size as well.
>>82324508
Floaty as fuck. No sense of momentum, gravity or weight.
>>82325300
Elephants are already nature's forgotten nerf patch, they never developed hands because they never needed them to assert dominance.
>>82325198
Not just intelligence but also the clothing. They would appear to be the most suitable for suits.
But intelligence part matter though. In Madagascar they have to dumb down the monkeys and penguins
>>82325300

Better world building, for God's sake. This movie is fucking incredible with setting the stage, it gets all the props in all the right places, All the right actors, lines; And then it fucking closes the curtain on all that after 2 hours. It would be a crime to not continue and build on this world. I wanna see stuff like:
>The rest of the country, it's provinces/states, towns, cities, laws, highway and other transportation systems, etc.
>The rest of Zootopia itself. The other boroughs, we only get like 10 minutes in the Meadowlands, we never even saw the Canal and Nocturnal districts, nor did we see Outback island. And the Polar Bear said there were, what 12 total?
>The economy, could be interesting to get an idea of how the real estate and vehicle markets function, seeing as how easily they could be taken advantage of.
You could basically make massive profit exploiting size-based discrepancies.
>Be me, rabbit
>Have Grizzly Bear buddy take out a mortgage on an average sized house for around $2000 a month
>Put in dividers and other renovations, effectively splitting the home up into about 20 or so 5 ft by 5 ft rooms.
>Rent them out to mice, rabbits, shrews, whatever at around $300 a piece
>Profit
>The science behind all of it, how can the city produce enough power to run a 4-mile long wall that sends out freezing air on one side, and blistering heat on the other, for 24 hours, every day of the week? On top of that, there's the medical science that would be involved with taking care of so many different animals. Are practitioners like vets, knowing about all species, or are there specialists?
This movie is so fucking satisfying in so many ways, yet it leaves so much so unanswered.

Little Rodentia. How does that work, really? Most animals in Zootopia goe from small (Judy the bunny) to huge (Francine the elephant), but the mice/shrews/etc. in Little Rodentia are tiny, even by Judy's standards.
We saw Judy had some troubles with oversized equipment, but she was still able to fit in more or less. To the little rodents, though, the rest of Zootopia is ridiculously huge, far too big to get around in without some assistance. How do they manage it? Little Rodentia isn't a ghetto; its residents do live and work in the rest of the city.
