In an animal world, would it still be reasonable for animal-based idioms and nicknames to appear for things, even though they refer to 'races' or people instead of subservient pets/beasts?
on the side for it, "swiss cheese, no true scotsman, apache helicopter" etc refer to groups of people (albeit nations, not races.) but on the side against it still seems weird for a dog to say something like "a cat in hell's chance" since it aligns with something like "a black in alabama" if you think about it too hard.

It is passable when you consider that Judy probably gave up on farming early on to follow her dreams and her knowledge of plants is very selective and full of holes. Knowing the scientific name for a plant that you know can be poisonous and mess with your head like a drug and that it also keeps the bugs away from the crops is one thing, realizing that those are the night howlers you heard about recently (a term used mostly by those few predators who know about those flowers) and which are making animals go full on feral forever unless properly treated, because they got destilled on purpose and used as a weapon by a maniac is another.
Basically, it all hinges on the fact that only those few predators who are into botany (like Otterton) or "agrarian" enough (Gideon, one of the very few foxes in Bunnyburrow - far away from the city) actually called those flowers like that and also fully knew their effects on animals, and Judy, being a prejudiced ass, never even thought to look for another connotation for that name other than timberwolves. Predators do not get what is happening because very few of them know about those flowers and even fewer can connect the dots and prey are racist fucks who do not seek any reason further than "he has claws, help". All this supported by a thought out propaganda machine ran by a person with significant aurhority (Bellwether) and nobody will add two and two together, at least not until you are in full power and finding a cure would mean jack shit, since no one can connect you with the case.

Yeah just the logisticly. To draw them in the same frame you either have to have the giraffe bending or leaning down, otherwise you end up with way too much negative space and it looks really awkward, also trying to keep the height difference and proportions consistent is a nightmare, which I'm already not the best at lol. They're just too cute to stop though!

The sequel definitely needs to tap into Nick's past, but also explore more areas of the city we've yet to see -- most notably, the Nocturnal District. Perhaps that district has a very prominent, well, nightlife, and Nick is a fairly well-known character down there as he goes to drown his sorrows every other night? The first film gave a whole lot of potential to more worldbuilding, and it shouldn't be put to waste.

Hmmm, unfortunately I don't save the project files of sketches so I can't export it as a png with transparency. Depending on the program you're using though, you can lower the saturation of the image so it's black and white. Make a new layer and set the layer settings to "Multiply" then you can color overtop the lines and the lines will stay on top of the color (basically) It's a nice trick for coloring things without transparency, and just about any image editing/drawing software has "Multiply" layers. Hope that helps

I think this depends on how the worlds in general in KH3 are being designed. 3 seems to be going for a major departure in the size of maps, (I doubt worlds will be single maps, but remain a series of multiple connected ones) but will they change the NPC density?
Typically worlds are barren as fuck and you're just supposed to kinda imagine that everyone is staying indoors.
So the question is are they going to try and make worlds actually feel inhabited? If so, I think city areas for a Zootopia world would be amazing, and it would be cool to be able to take something like a monorail between the different biome areas.
But if the worlds are remaining g as NPC-less as before, then that would only add to the uncannyness of it all and honestly might just be better suited for a rural setting, or less inhabited areas of the city like the cliff or jungle areas.
Ideally Square would take the time to actually model NPCs for worlds, but they love to cut corners so who knows.

My guess? They're pretty. Predators aren't going to eat them, but they find them pretty. It's like how cities will plant certain trees simply for aesthetics (like eucalyptus here in my home state of California), without considering their other characteristics (the fact that they're combustible, and the oil they secrete is also extremely flammable).
