Then it's not for you. It's an improvement on the first game in almost every way to be sure, but it also still the same premise and plot as the 1st one.
There's a few less planets as a bit of the filler from the first one has been cut out. And the character's are different as Quark in this game is far more sympathetic, Drek without the voice of Kevin Michael Richardson is nerfed of all true menace, Dr. Nefarious is in it and Ratchet and Clank are both nicer and become instant friends ala Finn and Poe from Force Awakens. But for $40 bucks and for people who have either never played the first game or played it so long ago that they barely remember it, it's fantastic.

Well, there goes all my desire to play this game. Those two aspects are what I liked most about the first one. I suppose kids who didn't grow up with the original games will like it, but considering my entire childhood consisted of Ratchet & Clank games, I'm getting a bit sick of it by this point.

Well, without giving away anything to anyone who hasn;t played the first game, the whole "event" that cuases Ratchet and Clank;s conflict with each other is moved from the end of Act 1 to the end of Act 2. By that point the characters have been together so long that it no longer has the effect on them that it had in the original because they're not just short term allies like they were in the original, they're actual friends. Also, unlike the first game, neither of them sees the vent coming and it;s done in a far less vicious manner.

I am going to see this movie in theater, and I hope it performs well(HAHA) but it's honestly probably going to be mediocre at best.
Watching the Trailer really just made me think how unnecessary it is to even make a movie out of the game.

Things were just getting a little to continuity drivem I enjoyed A Crack In Time but by then we've got the whole Lombax thing and a Clank retcon involving him having a father, and time travel and great clocks and all this other stuff. Going back to basis could be good from a writing perspective and a gameplay perspective. I'm not saying making a Going Commando reboot. But string over could be fun.
