Ehh, it's all right. From this chapter, it looks like an advanced version of the typical Monkey's Paw plot. Got a nice reaction image out of it though. Thanks for posting OP.

Ripping off Akiras Tetsuo, minus the physical deformities, felt pretty jarring to me.

See, i dont understand why people think it was a rip off of Akira. The only things it had in common where that there was 3 friends, and the power gained was telekinesis. Plus, even if it was somehow a rip off, I enjoy well done love live action adaptations.
