When does it get good?
I'm like 7 issues in and its average at best. Spiderman is some kinda weird Ironman/Batman knock off now. He fights boring baddies and spends most of his time in China.

Issue 3 sold 28,161, that's fine. Better than Silk, much better than Spider-Woman.
What is building up with the dude in the red suit has the potential to be a good story, I'm waiting to see what happens with that.

This is exactly what Spider-Island was when I dropped Slott Spidey for good. Almost came back for Spock, because the concept had potential, bt then remembered who was writing, and if that was some of his better work, I didn't want any more
I was interested it the early Zodiac stuff, but then it got boring Mr. Negative or whatever his name is.
Slott has good ideas but can't execute them for shit. He's better equipped to sit in meetings spitballing ideas and then writing fanfiction while pretending to be a fourteen year old girl.
so does anyone else really hate the art in this? it's so off putting and it's going to look extremely dated sooner rather than later
