>Yup, that's me. I bet you're wondering how I got here.
>The name's Kuzco... Emperor Kuzco. I was the world's nicest guy and they ruined my life for no reason. Oh, is that hard to believe? Look, I'll tell you what. You go back a ways, you know, before I was a llama, and this will all make sense. *rewinds*

A llama?! He's supposed to be dead!
Pull the Lever Kronk!

was this movie good or bad?
If only that asshole didn't voice the main character, I'd absolutely love this film.
>>81848581
One of my favorite Disney movies.

his voice fit him perfectly
>>81848581
It's a fantastic movie.

That just makes him perfect for the voice.

Spade was great in this, there was a huge era where Spade would play an asshole that you can't help but love because of all the terrible shit that happens to him.
>>81848581
pretty damn good. Kinda like Family Guy with some of the jokes, but it doesnt wear them out
>>81845557
You know, I always had a feeling that the voice-overs were added as an afterthought, when the film already was finished. Is there a version released without them?
Wasn't there a scrapped version of this movie that they made a documentary of? What was it going to be?

Yeah, its called The Sweatbox, and its very hard to find.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_SweatboxDisney lawyers are good at finding stuff
Having seen it myself though I can say its definitely worth the watch. The old designs and musical numbers are very interesting.

It was basically a Prince and the Pauper sort of tale.
That aside I adore this movie the way it is, still one of my all time favorites.

>hard to find
it's on kickass torrents, really good documentary too
>>81849279
Neat.
If thats the case then anyone whos a fan of the movie or has an interest in animated film making should definitely check it out.
>>81849242
huh. didn't know that. thanks anon, I am now a whopping 5% more aware of the marvelous world of animation and its endless stream of content.

What the other anons said. It's well worth checking out. Yzma's cut song is great, I'm glad it ended up on the soundtrack.
I can understand why it didn't work out, some parts were just a mess, especially that little stone guy they mention but never really explain.
>>81848834
It even had Joe
>>81846543
Yeah, weird...
When I saw this movie as a kid it blew my god damn mind, because I think it was the first animated movie I watched with self referential humor.
I was like "Oh my god, the character KNOWS HE'S IN A CARTOON" and I thought it was the funniest shit on the planet.
To this day it still holds up.
>>81845557
This movie worked because it knew how to use self-aware comedy well, unlike certain other works of fiction that come to mind

Eartha Kitt was perfect for the role of Yzma. Shame she's no longer with us.
