Instead of using his immense magical and scientific knowledge to fix the perfection that he thought his face was. He just goes and ruins it all with the mask.

Doom is overrated and I hate that everyone treats like he's some great villain. He's not at all. He's got a cool silly but cool name and design and that's it.
