Strangely Frank is just so God damn likeable. It's so much more satisfying to read his stuff, because when they build up a huge piece of shit like who he goes up against on a daily basis, it just feels good when they actually get what is coming to them rather than just a slap on the wrist. Ennis did this the best, but it's pretty universal in all his runs, movies, and now shows (hopefully his own soon). He's the best kind of deadpan too. Punisher comics are always the funniest. Just look at pic related! When I first saw this I had a hardy chuckle, and it still makes me grin. He's just a good guy, and everytime he kills someone it feels like a job well done.
