I always assumed that things would go down this way. I should be disappointed that it was predictable, but instead, I just feel gratified that wander gets to cash in on his good karma. You don't get many cartoons that star a character with that type of strength.

Those High Gnee guys wereassholes. They put on this big show and let everyone know that they need to follow strict protocol if they want their help. Then when people do as they ask they reject them for being dishonest. How does that make sense? Politeness is not dishonesty.
Then when someone finally does mess up, their "great wisdom" is an empty platitude that Wander and Sylvia already know.
