ITT: Villains so fucking stupid they actually come around to being entertaining
I'd say taskmaster
But I actually like him
The Reach
>>81621253
>>81621253
>made from a space alloy off an alien ship
That was the mightiest kek I have ever had.
>>81624198
>Stupid
No
>Entertaining
Still no
>>81621979
What Disco Milf is best mom, she makes sure all her children receive plenty of affection is stimulating ways. She repeatedly rapes her daughters is what I'm saying, except Nui.
>>81622631
Scientist deserved better
Black Beetle deserved better
Ambassador a shit
>>81621253
>>81624751
This is the guy that accidentally taught himself calculus to draw better, then used it to call someone fat though.
>>81624751
So you're saying he's not stupid, but also not entertaining?
>>81626575
By which I mean to ask, you think he's a good character but not entertaining? Why?
>>81621253
Skeletor! Nyah!!!!!
>>81626575
>>81626631
Who the hell is this is ithomestuck?
>>81628401
Lord English.
>>81621253
sword art online?
>>81628586
Yes. The second season, third story arc.
>>81625012
God she deserves better
>>81621253
>>81624700
>It's made of armor from a space battleship!
That was amazing. Where were there spaceships in this fucking game?
What's even better is that the SAO wiki (which of course exists) claims Death Gun's sword is called "Starship Metal Estoc". I love this fucking show.
>>81625387
>we couldn't afford joker so we just used a joker-lite instead
>>81628586
are you the real deal?
>>81628672
Makes sense, since he made it from scratch rather than it being an actual in-game weapon.
>>81628787
But that's so not how crafting works! And again, where are all the spaceships in GGO?
I can't wait for the movie to come out. I NEED more of this insanity in my life.
>>81628648
>>81628742
This is /Co/ though.
>>81628949
Eh. Might come to toonami. The dub aired over in France at the very least.
>>81629020
This was already on Toonami
SAO sucked and you're all a bunch of faggots
My normie friend suggested me to watch SAO and says it's his favorite. I still haven't started it, but want material to bond over with. This is true pain.
>>81630267
>SAO sucked
Yes, but that's why we liked it. It was an impressive and humorous kind of suck.
>>81630267
No one here said it was good. Lighten up.
>>81626575
>>81626631
What I'm saying is that his character is in no way stupid.
The back story is extremely complex and woven into the story in such a way that we didn't even notice until recently.
The Character himself (Caliborn) is interesting and complex but only in the mystery surrounding him. The whole sharing a body with his sister thing is interesting and the dynamic with her is cool.
Then there is the whole cherubs are never meant to play the game thing and the path that Caliborn chose to concur the game and gain his power set.
Then there is the Lord English side of things. He isn't exactly entertaining since his whole deal is destruction and we still don't know exactly why and the comic is ending in 4 days. He is a combination of 4 or 5 different souls and we don't know to what extent each soul impacts the characters motivations and probably never will.
>>81630644
I'll admit, while Caliborn is really interesting, LE is really bland.
>>81630332
SAO I first arc is god-awful trash but not unwatchably terrible. Then the second half of season one happened and I dropped it one episode in.
>>81622631
>The Reach
They actually animated Jamie Reyes' story?!
Source NOW!!!
>>81624198
Caliborn is entertaining. LE is a bit of a bore.
>>81630964
Uh...really? Young Justice season 2 since you've been under a rock.
>>81630964
Netflix

>Uh...really? Young Justice season 2
Oh. I guess I missed out on this when it originally aired. I get have cable tv until last year
>>81631467
Thank you
>>81631651
I read a FCDB issue of Atomic Robo a few years ago. It was really entertaining. I keep lying to myself like I'm going to actually read the series but I never do
>>81631753
>Oh. I guess I missed out on this when it originally aired. I get have cable tv until last year
There were many threads about it. It seemed hard to miss, but then again I'm sure I ignore several threads without noticing it.
>>81631753
>I get have cable tv until last year
*I did not have

>>81632543
Doesn't it have only some issues in there?
>>81628709
They had the rights to all the villains. They chose not to use them.BtB Anarky > Joker
>>81626631
A character not being stupid =/= a quality character

Oh god... the ad... I'd forgotten
>>81630744
>>81630644
Caliborn and LE are the same fucking character you nimrods, that's the whole point.
It's the same thing with Condesce and Meenah: a kid version of a villain who interacts with other kids in order to characterize their future self.
Same thing with Dirk and Roxy showing the true traits of Mom and Bro.
A hundred thousand percent this.
Really now?
>>81635869
Nah the monarch was kinda predictable
>>81635869
He's shown to actually be pretty competent at what he does though.
Granted, his ambitions start and end with fucking with the Ventures but he doesn't pull any half measure bullshit. The dude legitimately loves what he does and puts everything he has into doing it, when most other villains in that show are a joke.
>>81625593
wut
>>81635778
Yes
This guy right there.
This fucking guy.
>>81630267
Literally no one has said otherwise in this entire site.
As in not even the SAOfags in /a/ defend it
>>81643753
Who the fuck is that guy
If by "stupid" you mean incompetent, Cobra Commander on a bad day.
He's arguably even more entertaining when he is competent, though.
>>81643050
This guy.
>>81630267
>replying to people who aren't on this website
Why?
Paste Pot Pete.
>>81621253
>ITT: Villains so fucking stupid they actually come around to being entertaining
>Death Gun
I'll do you better.
>>81628709
>And we were too embarrassed of his original design so we just put an A on a colorless model of the Spectre
>>81647827
Wow this is the most "psshh nothin' personnel kid" villain I've ever seen
People actually watch this trash
>>81621253
>>81647827
>>tfw Nurutu will outlive you
;_;
Stupid in appearance or intelligence?
>>81621253
Don't forget that weird elf dude in 1 who licked Asuna's tears.
Man, Sword Art Online really is the Twilight of anime.
>>81648361
I got into graffiti for a while in college then later went back and rewatched some Tick. When Chairface explained his plan to write his name on the surface of the moon as the ultimate act of vandalism I actually kinda got it. I was like "Fuck man why didn't I think of that?"
>>81648669
Well, I dunno about that. SAO has attractive females in it.
>>81646524
Starfinger from Legion of Superheroes.
>>81648244
nah nobody watches shippuden.
The whole forever knights theme was a joke until this guy was all "alien genocide" in that one episode where they murdered everyone in dramatic fashion.
>>81630964
>Jamie Reyes' story
More like they took that story and adapted it to fit YJ and its large team cast. Which is fine, but don't expect Jaime and the scarab's character development (and how they interact with the main antagonist) to be nearly as involved as it was in the comics. Jaime in his animated incarnations tend to be more straightforward good boys than his wise ass comics self, but I digress.
>>81625012
Why boner? Why!
>>81625387
>"Anarchy"
>Not a villain whose gimmick is actually deconstructing capitalism and the role of government, and maybe trying to dig up dirt and ethical ramifications of how the Waynes made their fortune.
3/10, I still liked BtB,
>>81643753
He was fun
RIP Taylor Negron
>>81648037
I didn't like the design overall, but liked the idea of an all-white villain to contrast Batman's costume.
It's something that looks better on 2D rather than CGI though.
>>81648738
>the moon still has "HA" written on it in the later episodes
the tick was the best
