Well, the movie does have Don Quixote, Sancho Panza, Rocinante and Dulcinea in it. But it also has a bunch of animal characters such as a lion, a rooster, a civet cat and a tranny horse. I don't remember shit about the plot, but it probably wasn't faithful to the source material.
What happened to Aestar or what was it?
If you are bored as fuck, it could be an appropriated choice.

I own this. I watched it. It's not fantastic but it's not as terrible as it looks.
It's just yet another stinging reminder that we'll never get a good Don Quixote adaption. I mean apart from this can you even name another adaption of Don Quixote? No you can't. Here Don Coyote and Sancho Panda, the hanna barbera cartoon. That's it.
Who the fuck do I gotta blow to get a Pixar DQ movie. I mean Up showed they could do the old man protag with dumpy idiot sidekick so we'll probably never get it now anyway but GODDAMNIT I WANT IT.

Fucking Æslet. I remember that my sister wanted to watch it with me and we ended up stopping 30 minutes in because it made no sense.
Canadian version calls it 'Donkey X' which makes it sound like a witness protection program movie or something. No idea why they dropped the Don Quixote reference in the title.
