Two fantastic scenes.
Other than that the characters are bland as fuck, and they tried condensing the worst parts of the first three books into one barely coherent storyline.

it was a pretty nice movie. actually, I prefer it to a lot of other childrens' movies nowadays since it appeals to kids and adults alike

All I remember about this movie was Matt Damon and Tina Fey taking the piss out of it on 30 Rock.
Underrated IMO. The animation was well done and has some cool sequences, and some of the characters were pretty fun.
Main character was bland as hell though.

i never read the books but i found this movie to be pretty solid. nothing too memorable except for the animation.
and seriously? owl city? they did it on purpose didnt they? thought it would be funny? doesnt matter the song was pretty good anyway. and the soundtrack was great

Snyder should had directed Sin City 2, he is great for simple but amazing action(like in 300). But stuff that actually needs substance not so much

It was stylistically cool but kind of awkward...so like everything else Snyder has done.
It's been a while since I saw this but I remember thinking it was really weird how in the end his parents are just all happy he's back and they don't seem to give a fuck their other son just "died"
