I REALLY like 12's design for when she's in school. The villain is cool too with that creepy-ass face and voice.
But I'm really not feeling the whole "quirky magical girl" thing, especially when Star vs. is around.

As much as it pains me to say it, given the... tastes, of the pilot's creator (and said influence on the new PPG), we might be better off being left eternally wanting for more Butt Witch than actually seeing the series get greenlit, and all our hopes turning into vinegar like so much spoiled wine.
Because if a full series actually happens and it spits on everything we loved about the original short, or wears out its welcome, the good times will be tarnished forever, but if we're left with only the brief, brilliant taste of the pilot, and what we personally make of the Butt Witch, at least we'll never be disappointed.
