You're retarded, OPerator.

But I hate:

Brave
Cars 2
Most of the Disney Animation Studios that aren't hand drawn except Frozen.

Posting the pic of Pixar's most perfectly crafted film...
>>
Fucking hate Zootopia because you autists won't shut up about it. The same thing happened with Frozen.
>>
>>81517291
So you'll stop hating it when we stop talking about it in a month or two?
>>
>>81517006
That's one hell of an incorrect opinion you've got there, sonny.
>>
>>81517291
How about you go see it then? Just to see why it's so hyped up?
>>
>>81517291
I ignored Frozen until 3 days ago and I honestly loved it. V qt.
>>
>>81517006
Can you elaborate why you don't like it, because I don't believe you.
>>
>>81517411
It's too far fetched. I'd rather watch things more grounded in reality like SU.
>>

Even most of /tv/ likes The Incredibles.

I guess i'm worst than /tv/ then.

>my opinion of a movie is in any way affected by fans

Why is this so common? How can you be that dumb?
>>
>>81518778
It's part of the mindset that you can't discover something wonderful if everyone else has already discovered it a million times over. The solution is to simply enjoy things rather than attempt to be a special snowflake with muh obscure taste.

I never liked Finding Nemo.
>>
>>81517377
Not that anon, but I saw it with no expectations and found it a 6/10 movie. Cute at times but head scratching and dumb at others. Don't get the people going crazy about it and it's annoying that they're popping up everywhere and don't listen to anyone not slavering over it. The icing on the cake is the mix of fans who either openly admit to being or becoming furry or the ones that insist that anyone would go furry over the movie.
>>
>>81519344
That's odd. I can recognize that Rata2e is a good film but I almost don't like it that much.
>>
>>81517083
You didn't like Tangled/Rapunzel?
>>
>>81519451
I've only seen like 10 minutes of it. I liked what I saw though.

I wanted to like it but it was just so bad I didn't even finish it

What made you stop? It's quite nice, and I think if you like Frozen you'd like Tangled.

This shit right here. Only reason I didn't walk out was because I was with people and it would have been rude.
>>
>>81519505
Fuck you.

>>81519507
It was on TV I think and I was busy. I'll watch it some time. I've been watching Once Upon a Time so I watched Frozen so season 4 would make sense.

>>81519516
I don't know what that abbreviates. I just thought Frozen was cute. Exceeded expectations since I don't venture outside of Pixar animated movies that much anymore.
>>
>>81519402
It is rather average but the animation bumps it up to a 7 for me. Felt a bit rushed but given that every minute probably cost more than I make on a year to render I can understand it.

>judging a movie based on its popularity
How is it even possible to be this retarded.
>>
I was never very fond of up that goddly opening hit me hard as the next guy for sure. but I didn't like fantasy jungle setting nor did I approve of the Cartoony designs((should have been more life like)) and the kid was badly done.
>>
>>81519703
>it's okay when /co/ does it with Frozen but not muh furry movie
>>
>>81519651
>so season 4 would make sense
My limited understanding of OUaT is that that wouldn't really help.

WiR = Wreck-it-Ralph, the old school video game/arcade game story.

>>81519700
I agree that the animation is great, and from what I've heard, new technology and/or software means that the rendering has been moving much faster than it has in the past, which has exciting implications for the number of 3D movies that Disney can put out in a short span and how willing it is to make sequels. The downside is that every 3D movie that blows up the box office puts another nail in the coffin of 2D feature length films. It would be nice if Disney used its massive profits to fund experimental projects but the smart money is on maintaining its profits by going for the surer bets.

And yeah, one unfortunate aspect of Disney focusing on families with kids is that it has to shove so much stuff into a short span of time. An hour and 40 minutes or so can make everything more than a little cramped.

>My limited understanding of OUaT is that that wouldn't really help.

I was glad I watched it before because it was treated HEAVILY as a direct continuation of the movie in my opinion whereas everything else in the show simply relies on everyone's basic common knowledge of Beauty and the Beast/Snow White/etc.

It makes sense though since there's like at least a 40 year difference in Frozen and everything else in the show.

the capes literally get sued in the first 15 minutes

>>81519344
I have a feeling Finding Nemo was one that you need to watch with kids to appreciate.

I found it unbelievably dull
>>
>>81520348
I don't think so. I didn't watch it with kids and I don't have them myself, but damn that movie. The scene where Nemo's getting told about all the dangers his dad went through to get to him really pulled at my heartstrings.

>"It's my dad! He took on a shark!"
>"I heard he took on THREE."
It's so good: Marlin is so, so scared of the ocean and Nemo has never been able to look up to him before, and it really hits you how much Marlin cares for Nemo. It's amazing how their relationship is still the focus despite their being separated for most of the movie.

>"I have to tell him how old sea turtles are!"
Marlin's desperation to get to his son is the best thing about the movie.

I liked the interpretation that it's a movie about a father finally moving on after losing his son, even if it makes the final shot of Marlin waving goodbye to Nemo hurt more. It feels more personal and sweet, in a sad way.

Up. First five minutes are golden, and then the rest is forgettable.
>>
>>81520632
It's a shame Finding Dory will probably be complete and utter shit.
>>
>>81520734
Up really did itself a disservice by putting that scene in the beginning of the movie rather than at the end.
>>
>>81520759
Yeah, I'm really not looking forward to that. Might skip it unless I hear it's just as emotionally keyed in as the original was.
>>
>>81520759
I trust Andrew Stanton.

Rescuers 1/2. The movies suck because the kids needing rescuing were both boring and annoying.

Also Bernard lost his good personality in the sequel making for a worse product.

Hate?

Brave
Inside Out
Frozen
Cars 1/2 & Planes (All the same shit)

Honorable mention is Zootopia:

It's not based on popularity but there was a thread a while ago where I got to see the original concept rather than the saccharine feelgood movie we got and I regrettably watched.

Original concept could be considered edgelord but could have been a steeping stone into Pixar getting into more adult themes in animation. Same reason I didn't like Inside Out, they tried tackling depression and the concept of sadness but chickened out for the feelgood. Then again I'll admit to being jaded and sick of seeing movies trying to show the sour core of society but faking out the lesson with sugary diabeetus fuel.

If predators were just humans with sharp teeth then yes, shock collars are cruel and unnecessary.

But if shock collars trained predators not to follow their powerful instincts, then it would be an example of the necessities of civilization, and understandable.
