Read a 'interview with the public' (hearing? I don't know what they are called) where he was asked about abortion laws and he just keeps dodging the question over and over, even asking back to the interview about his religion. At the end he just said he was pro life but nothing on what would happen to women that had illegal abortions or even if he would make it illegal.

Higher primary turnouts don't correlate to the general. Hillary's "inevitability" factor also correlates with the low turn out. Less dems are voting because they already assume Clinton will be the nominee. His "plan" seems to revolve around finding a way to fund it from either the trade deficit, tariffs, or remittances.
Using the trade deficit makes little sense, because just because I buy $10 of your stuff and you buy $5 of mine, it doesn't mean you owe me $5. It's not logical that we'd have 120 million poorer Mexicans buy the same value of products from the US as 300 million relatively richer Americans would buy from dirt-cheap Mexico. And it's certainly not criminal.
Plus, the state that is Mexico isn't getting the trade deficit, because we're talking about business interactions, not state-to-state shit. This means that if tariffs are applied on Mexican goods to fund the wall, all you'll have is more expensive goods from Mexico which AMERICAN CONSUMERS will pay for, and a bunch of angry American businesses who have their supply chains disrupted.
Or, you could take the money from remittances, i.e. fund the wall by appropriating money Mexicans in the States send back to Mexico. Because of course, all these families will continue to send money, even when they know it's not going to Mexico, and definitely won't find ways to circumvent it (bitcoin, crossing over with cash), and definitely won't impact people who have entered legally.

What happens if Trump's busy starting trade wars with China and Japan as well? He's said they're killing America, and he's made it clear that he's completely fine with putting tariffs on their goods, too.
You can make do without Mexico, or Japan, or maybe even China.
