What's stopping an animal that loses its mind, or a simple accident around Little Rodentia from killing literally hundreds of mice? Do they have a contingency for that kind of stuff?

You're full of shit, Bellwether. The truth is you hated that bitch: You followed him and dragged him into the car and took him out to the Tundra Town. He woke up, and you smashed his face in with a socket wrench.

And then you stomped him... you stomped him because he was a drunken whore and he treated you like shit.

You stomped him for all the years you had to take it. You stomped him because you're such a weak fucking sister, Bellwether, and you wanted to erase all memory of it. Go on, try to deny it.

I figure the fence is able to be electrified in case of an emergency.

Other than that, small rodents accept some level of risk into their lives and know how to scurry.

>Tell me if this story sounds real to you. Naive little kid with good grades and big ideas decides "Hey look at me, I'm gonna move to Zootopia! Where predators and prey live in harmony and sing Kumbaya!" Only to find, whoopsie: we don't all get along. And that dream of becoming a big city cop: double whoopsie; she's a meter maid. And whoopsie number three-sy: no one cares about her or her dreams. And soon enough those dreams die and our bunny sinks into an emotional and literal squalor living in a box under a bridge until finally she has no choice but to go back home with that cute fuzzy-wuzzy little tail between her legs to become... You're from Bunnyburrows, that what you said? So how about a carrot farmer? That sound about right?
Nick's monologue in the beginning was absolutely my favourite lines, whats yours?

Little Rodentia probably have their own police precinct, but they're only capable of dealing with rodent-sized problems. When something like a weasel manages to get in they're kind of screwed, and they were pretty fortunate that it was Judy who was sent in and not one of the bigger cops.

I wonder what Nick did everyday besides sell those popsicles. He would sell them at 5 as the Lemmings got off work, and we know Judy encountered him during her meyer maid shift which she finished at noon. So Nick's daily popsicle scheme is 12 to 5 every day. That leaves so much free time for the guy, I wonder if he had any hobbies or if he'd just sit around that shitty warehouse lot that he presumably owns.

There's really a lot we don't know about Nick. He reveals that one bullying story, but changes topic immediately after.

Can't wait to learn more as the franchise expands. Hopefully that prequel graphic novel will give some insight to Nick's life before he became an officer.

I don't get what point you're trying to make. Every country involved in WW2 committed atrocities, the only difference is that one side were victors and claimed the other side war criminals. America and Britain had the firebombing of Dresden, Japan and China raped and mutilated the shit out of each other (also Unit 731), etc etc. Who "the worst" was makes no difference on such a scale.

It's all fluff stuff, nothing important.

Honestly, I used to keep up with the twitter EXACTLY for more Judy/Nick ship teasing since that was all over the place a few weeks ago, but Rich has pretty much stopped that completely, so I stopped keeping up with it.

His twitter has dropped some pretty big fucking bombs, honestly; Nick's mom being alive and in Zootopia, Finnick and Nick just being business partners and not friends, Judy and Nick getting official shipping name and other general teasing about them, etc.

I think Rich is no longer going to talk about Nick and Judy though, sadly, he seemed to let the topic go, which sucks since it's literally all we get until 3+ years later in a sequel. I was dying for more fucking teasing, too. Oh well.

I like Escape From Zootopia because of dis quote
>I ask Howard if there a moment in the film’s development where it all came together. “Yes, when we flipped the film’s protagonist a year and a half ago,” he replies. “We took what we had shot so far to Pixar to let a fresh audience take a look at it. We didn’t set them up at all, just asked them to watch and be blunt. [WALL-E director Andrew] Stanton said, ‘You’re introducing the film thru Nick’s eyes. He’s a cynic who doesn’t like the city, therefore I can’t root for the city; I want Nick to escape from the city rather than see it healed.’”

had a thought about this the other day; assuming tasers are a thing, there's got to be some kind of safety and protocol around using them on smaller inhabitants. after all, if you tased Judy or Nick with the same shock that's meant to take down elephants, then that'd possibly be a lethal amount of current, hell, you could probably just vaporise perps with that if you pointed it at a shrew.

so is there some kind of universal taser with adjustable power or just how does it all work out?

So what do you think they would have talked about further here if Nick hadn't gone all shy and tried to switch the subject with his traffic reporter joke (which ultimately helped out finding the cams)

Judy seemed like she wanted to comfort him more about what he told her.
>>
>>81469445
Let's be frank, here; Judy had a solid support system. She clearly had friends in Bunnyburrow, and had parents who, while clearly terrified for her in her chosen profession, at the very least acknowledged at some point that they couldn't stop her, and all they could do was support her the best they could.

Nick, meanwhile, had, what. His mom? Some kids that turned on him in the most painful way possible because of what he is? It's honestly a shock that Nick's managed to restrain himself to dubious, but technically legal, acts. Then, all it took was someone giving him an honest chance to bring out that goody two shoes that he used to be.

So a question regarding these, not that I have the means or desire to own a pet fox but just for knowledge sake and MAYBE in the far future, just what exactly is involved in purchasing one of these?

Say I want to just own one right here and now in my home in the states, do I need some special permit or license first? do I have to have some kind of authorization to own a fox? this can't be as simple as just buying a dog at petsmart or whatever.

Also how/where do you even buy these? is it some TOR underground seedy website shit that you have to track down and it's totally illegal? or is it literally just google "Buy a pet fox" and it gives you sites? I probably could have just tested this question but whatever.

Towards the end, we see a writer typing up a scene with Clawhauser and Nick. In it, Clawhauser comments that they're somewhere they shouldn't be and Nick says it's the job. its sad because the movie made you feel happy and you want to share that happiness with others but you know that eventually the hype will die out and no one will be talking about this movie save for a few hardcore fans, but the feeling that it wont get the same appretiation you give it makes it feel wrong, plus you want to see more of these characters and want to see them grow together and hopefully have your fantasies be fulfilled through them because they make you feel what love is really like.

thats just me though

I remember looking into it a while ago, apparently the only way to get domesticated foxes is out of Russia, and I think there are a few companies in the US that deal with them directly (however, I seem to remember the major one having huge issues recently, so I'm not sure on the status of that).

I think the one thing that stood out to me about foxes is that they are apparently impossible to house train. Like, impossible. For that reason, I think it's generally recommended to have a sizable outdoor enclosure for them if you are ever considering it.

Again, this was some time back so take this stuff with a grain of salt.

In this case a movie that for the most part seems to have had a positive effect on people in terms of mental health. But then thats it. Once that thread 404's you're off to meet everyone all over again. If you take a name and tripcode or what have you. You're precived as an attention whore. If you remain anon then you'll never know who you were chatting with. In the end it's just you, your monitor, and people you'll never meet sharing the love of something over and over.

>I think the one thing that stood out to me about foxes is that they are apparently impossible to house train. Like, impossible

I saw a video of someone's pet fox on Youtube and they were box trained. They are very trainable, although they need lots of attention or they will use their excess energy to get into mischief. You can housebreak a fox much like you would a dog, however you need to be prepared to clean up their stinky piss if they make a mistake during training.

It's true that they need a good amount of fenced in space to play in outside. Some people keep them outdoors at night and when they're away from home, and others let them come in and out of the house as they please. It all depends on how pet-proof you intend to keep your house when you're not around to supervise the fox. As said before, they are very clever and can cause a lot of mischief which is the main reason why many owners keep them outside rather than inside.

I kind relate to this but not so overly "emotional" as that. To me it just comes down to Nick and Judy getting together. I love their chemistry in the film and how they go from being annoyed as fuck by each other to full on all over each other by the ending and it bugs me to no end that the movie wasn't able (due to time and it'd feel rushed as fuck) to get them as a couple by the ending. It's a good move because I want that shit to happen in a great way, not rushing it in the last 5 minutes. I don't date nor have relationships myself so I love it when a pair of fictional characters I really like fall in love, it's my own little way to experience those feelings just by seeing two characters I like experience it and I love that shit.

Imagine slipping a few gallons of Night Howler juice into the Rainforest District mist towers

Imagine finding a way to turn the Night Howler extract into a gaseous form and then piercing a packet of it in a crowded subway car ala the Tokyo Gas Attacks in the 90s.

Imagine them pumping that gas via the Tundra Town air conditioners

Imagine them smuggling grounded up petals into food packaging plants

Imagine filling a super soaker or water balloon with the stuff and then splashing a crowded Little Rodentia intersection with it

Imagine some mad scientists putting it on a bunch of fleas and then releasing those fleas into the city. The Bluebonic Plague, but with less rotting and more murder.

Imagine a criminal slipping some of it in Judy's carrots in such a way that neither she nor Nick can smell the alteration. Imagine her sinking her sharp buckteeth into Nick's neck in spite of his pleas, the fox TOO SLOW to get at a vial of antidote.

Or you could just, y'know, not think about it too hard and have fun with this movie that could've been an Orwellian misery-fest with talking animals.

That fence does look pretty fucking tall and sturdy. I'd estimate the bars are a good three quarter inches thick set into one to two foot thick concrete foundations and at least eight feet high, I think even a charging rhino would more likely kill themselves bashing into the fence than break through.

Gotta remember: strong as animals can be, they still have limits to how much force they can impart. Also didn't look like they could easily climb over without assistance like ladders.

All in all, bar gaps aside, Little Rodentia is like some kind of suburban fortress. At least as I recall the movie and based on Judy's roughly 2 1/2 foot rough size in comparison to everything else.

Anyone got screencaps of Judy and/or Weaselton near the gates of Little Rodentia?

>Byron is gay
Neat.

>Just Friends
When?
>>
>>81470276
Not just Koreans, everybody does, almost by default, except those who have their own personal interest in a specific countership.

...and so did Rich, what's your point? we know they're friends up until the end of the film, there may have been a LITTLE room for speculation with a few scenes near the end, but both rich/byron said they're just friends.

What people care about is what will happen next, where will they go from here. Byron hasn't said a word on that but Rich is ship teasing like a fiend on his twitter, also everyone wants it to happen, and there's little reason why not...so it's most likely a thing in the sequel. I don't think byron would hold back characters from being together just because "they're straight"

that'd be VERY silly and downright mean spirited, which is against how Byron is and the even the point of the movie they made

Not really a comic, more of an AU where Nick became a deputy and Judy never left Bunnyburrow

there is that too. Mostly just pointing out where one could see a threat from Finnick, not really the person supporting or against Finn-Nick friendshipping.

Though, in light of their relationship canonically being a business one, I'd like to think as Nick improves himself as a person and grows, he's going to reach out to old associates to try to genuinely befriend them.

Which will hopefully lead to the appearance of best paranoid badgher. I don't care if she's voiced by Whoopi Goldberg, as long as she basically talks like a black, female Kenji from Katawa Shoujo, I'll love her to bits.

And more Finnick scenes too.

Just going by how much the story changed over the course of development, nothing is set in stone until the next movie comes out, and they are going to do whatever serves its story best.

Not sure, but I left a thread open, went to work, got back from work, went to start saving some archived images but they were 404'd. Scrolled to the bottom of the page and found the thread was deleted instead of archived and I don't know why they hit it.

I think he did.

>What would happen if somebody put a few gallons of that stuff in the Rainforest Misters? Vented it through the Tundra Town cooling units? Diced it, took it to a packaging plant, and swapped out the regular spices in your favorite snack bags," his thumbs jabbed the air with each telling. "And he just kept going. My least favorite concept involved the subway. He showed us choice images from that 90s Tokyo gas attack and asked us to imagine ourselves in a train car when a parcel full of Night Howler gas went off," he whipped out his wings. "BOOM! No escape."

>It would be child's play to hide a few quarts of Night Howler extract on one's person then spray them over a crowded Little Rodentia intersection with an innocuous super soaker or a flung water balloon.

>Throw enough unscrupulous or kidnapped scientists at the plant and they'd find a way to piggyback the stuff onto fleas or lice. A Blue Plague across the nation.

>They only converged in very special cases. Like the one where he's driving the police cruiser and realizes too late that someone had injected Judy's carrots with the toxin. He wouldn't be able to get at the antidote vials in the first aid kit – now standard issue for every ZPD officer – she'd be too fast, too vicious; her frenzied screams drowning out his futile pleas. And as she sank her incisors into his throat, he would finally lose control of the vehicle, and they'd crash into the river. Maybe on a warm night so nobody else would get hurt. The water wouldn't be cold like it was in Tundra Town; it would be perfect. He wouldn't be burning or crushed to death like he'd be if they had driven into a wall. And it would give his friend - what was left of her anyway – a fighting chance to swim her way to safety. She would leave him behind, as alone as he had been before he had met her.

To be fair, Bluebonic Plague sounds better than Blue Plague.
