If a movie costs $10 million to make, then $100 million is a good number at the box office. However, BvS costs $250 Million (the actual production budget is $320M but it b/c of tax incentives & rebates, it was brought down) and another $200M to market /advertise, it needs around $1 Billion to produce a profit.

So... out of the most important aspects on a film, (director, writer and lead actress), we have one good, one bad and one neuter. Who knows? The most worrisome IMO isn't Gal Gadot, as a good supporting cast can carry bad lead actress, but not even the best actress can made a shit script to be good. I think the director will made the best work she can do with the script, and can even push Gadot to do some decent playing... but there's only so much she can do with the source material.

While I'm aware of all the buzz about her good work in the couple scenes where she appeared, I'm not convinced. So far, she have only show to switch between bedroom eyes and angry face, and all the CG around made kind of hard to appreciate the choreography and her swordsmanship.
Also, to be honest, reading most of the opinions about her, the main arguments are "muh girl powah!" and "well, at least they didn't ruined her like Batman or Supes".
I may be wrong, and WW could be an outstanding achievement in film (and art) history, with Gal Gadot doing a superb job, but till we get more info, I'm sceptical.
