I'm pretty sure /co/'s problem with DotF is not that Joker is too cool in it and Snyder is simply too awesome and sexy a writer. The problem with DotF is that it makes no sense and nothing happens in it. It's actually terribly plotted.

This is a bad criticism because it ends up with writers giving us bad stories with Things Happening like Alfred losing his hand. A story doesn't need to change the status quo to be good.

And I have never seen anyone say it doesn't make sense. It makes perfect sense. It not being an amazing arc doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.
